  1. Many thanks to Cryptic Souls Crew as the coin arrived today and will soon be released up north. I appreciate the effort of getting the coins then packaging them and finally posting them all off.
  2. Seems okay to me....might have been a temporary glitch? I am still waiting for an update sent a day or two ago. Hence my thoughts turned to the new (?) one. Quote from Latest developments on itsnotaboutthenumbers - New (old) Uploading Method "Currently, there’s 868 GPX files waiting to be processed, and at a rate of one every fifteen minutes, I’ll let you do the math to figure out how long it’ll take to get through that, assuming nobody uploads anything new in that time… So, (and hopefully this won’t completely b0rk everything up…) I’ll reveal the slightly-secret way to get you files uploaded Right Now… The INATN “Classic Uploader” If you’re new to INATN, this was the way everyone used to upload their GPX files. There were problems with the server load, however, so I created the current way to try to distribute the load. That page has actually existed for awhile; anyone who has been having trouble uploading files using the current method was directed to that page instead. I hesitated on revealing it too publicly, but so much for that. So, use that page for now. If everything doesn’t come crashing down in a flaming heap on ones and zeroes, I’ll incorporate it back into the main page." I used a couple days ago and it updated my stats almost immediately.
  3. There's always the one tomorrow just down the road from your workplace.
  4. Have a great time which I'm sure you will, If miss the UK just remember waking the hubby for snoring when it was the next tent. Greg
  5. Hope you all have a wonderful life down under. We will all miss you Sylvia
  6. Think back to last year when they released the TB's and we in the UK did receive a good share of them, which many are still in circulataion.
  7. No comment on times etc. Any ideas? Also I suspect that they will give them out to anyone and everyone so, just like the TBs, many will go to muggles...!?! As far as I know they are only given out to geocachers who apply for one which is why they ask for your gc name and password. Think back to last year when they released the TB's and we in the UK did receive a good share of them, which many are still in circulataion.
  8. As far as I know it is and they asked for the same information when they launched the diabetic TB's last year.
  9. 10. I thought it looked familiar! Home to Scottish Rugby
  11. I have to admit that when this first came up I was in two minds as well as to whether it was a good idea or not so have decided to hold one in Newcastle Blue Carpet on the 10th of November along with over 40 other similiar events around the world happening at the same time and judge for myself. Not meant to be self promotion of the event cache.
  12. While there are plenty caches in the area the one that I remember best and would recommend is a virtual GC8C39 One Man's Castle. When you see it you'll understand or it just may be me that finds it interesting.
  13. There was a series called GEOPOLY in Paris but sadly now all archived.
  14. LQ: Northumberland - Barrasford Park - GC15YRX Published
  15. I'll be offshore until the end of the month so wouldn't be able to place one until then but will take Northumberland if no one else has taken it.
  16. Unless someone can correct me can I claim the most countries cached in with 17?
  17. Correction Mandy, if you were there at the time Andy (Lost It) the most prolific cache setter in the northeast should have the 3rd one it in front of him. While I have seen and logged 5 (haven't logged Tony's) I do not have any in my possession.
  18. Sheesh! Thats the second time I've had a full set and they have come out with a new one Oh well, I claim the record for having found the most types I just noticed on my Add/Edit Insta-Notify Subscription page there is an option for Type to Watch for a Geocache Course so looks like there will be another new icon soon. I tried it but get the error page.
  19. BUMP And confirming 3 red jeeps will be in attendance ready to start their UK travels. which I think are the first ones in country
  20. If you can find them cheap in the US I'll be coming back from there just before the event. Have them sent to my brother's house and I'll bring them back hopefully with some other surprises.
  21. A couple of easy multi's if you have the time in addition to ones already mentioned Paris in Springtime (GCAD88) where the Doors lead singer was laid to rest but not part of the cache Tea 4 Tour (Eiffel) (GCZB7M) some nice views of the tower unfortunately GEOPOLY - Chance by biboux (GC10T9F) the series has been archived although cachers are still finding it There seems to be a boom in Paris with caches with about a dozen new ones since I was last there in March 07.
  22. Equatorial Guinea (I know because I placed it and found only once, actually twice but first was a workmate to check the coordinates and hint)
