  1. I'm going through major withdrawal here PLUS I'm feeling totally clueless. I had no idea that we were causing Infosponge grief or that the site was becoming a burden. . I'm sorry, Infosponge. I really REALLY appreciate all of your hard work - your site made such a big contribution to Florida caching! Come back to us, please!
  2. Jacksonville has a 12 Days of Christmas micro series with a bonus cache at the end. Up until Christmas you can take something (cool GEO items) without trading; after Christmas it becomes a regular trade-for-junk cache. Wanted to get there last weekend, but cached elsewhere - will probably have to go after New Years.
  3. I think that maybe a little bit of people could put better things in caches. I found a cache that had a peice of jewelry in a cache and it broke when I held the lil' charm on it.
  4. I am a 9-year-old cacher and I haven't yet met a cacher close to my age with their own caching name. I might like to know some from the forum... anybody here a kid?
  5. quote: The point of TBs is to travel - I help them do so, regardless of whether or not I have one to replace in the cache Exactly! Travle Bugs are to travle, not sit in a cache until somebody with another travle bug comes along. That gives the "Extermanators" a better chance of getting the bug, which is bad. The longer TBs sit in caches, the more chance the extermanators have of scarfing them up. Mooooom! you didn't log my finds!
  6. An extermanator is somebody who gets rid of bugs, in this case, gets rid of Travle Bugs. The one in Gainesville, Fl leaves a card that says "Travle Bug Extermanator". It atleast lets you know what happend to your poor lil' buggy. Mooooom! you didn't log my finds!
  7. quote: If someone is the kind of person to take a Travel Bug, why wouldn't they just unscrew the camera and take it? Good point. I think that people who take Travle Bugs would try to make it the least bit obvious that they took it. A good idea is for those who just think that the TB is a toy, we could atach a note saying if they're not a Geocacher, leave the TB alone. That might help atleast a little
  8. Hmmm.... I have heard of the hotel too. If we could only give out the cords one certin place or time..
  9. Hehe... I geuss I'll wait. Post deleted! [This message was edited by One Courgaress on September 30, 2003 at 02:43 PM.]
  10. *grins* I like horse luver better, but anyways...
  11. I think I'll do that, maybe keep a log of how many Travle Bugs get stolen a week or month. We could have little meetings or somthing were we could discuss how many TB are stolen, what to do with the extermanators, ect...
  12. There's atleast one TB extermanator in every state, we have one here in Gainesville, FL. We need someway to extermanate the extermanaters.. but how? Maybe we can have certain people to pick the bugs up and put them were the extermanators won't find them... any ideas?
  13. Ummmm.... does the new one show? it's gonna be a horse....
  14. Ooops, I'm CHANGING mine. I need some imput if the new one looks good....
  15. I changed mine, the old one was getting drull. Now I am queen of the horse people. lol.
  16. We have an extermanater here in Gnsvlle FL, TBs here don't stand a chance enless the are saved.
  17. *growls at extermanater* I'm realesing one soon, I can't decide what to put the taggy on! I hope the "Evil Extermanater" will keep his (or her) hands off of my buggy!!!!
  18. His name is Jake the Mallard.
