  1. Because some folks here have an agenda. What's really funny is when you pose a question and then two (or more) "veterans" start moaning on and on about issues that don't even particularly pertain to the OP. If you do a search you will see that they have *ahem* issues that go back some time. Back on topic: I haven't really seen a cache like that...but I try to play by the rules set up by the owner as closely as I can. If it ain't a game I want to play: NEXT!
  2. As long as we're at it: can someone take the MCAT for me? Thanks in advance!
  3. As a cache owner, I'd be pretty grateful. Heck, even a page from a memo pad would be fantastic.
  4. Haven't seen one yet, but I reckon I'd get a kick out of it.
  5. I know that they are pretty expensive (I have a couple for test equipment I sometimes travel with). Have you looked at the soda bottle preforms? They are micros, but...seems like they would be tailor-made for underwater applications (since they are, by design, waterproof under pressure).
  6. That mud puddle was probably just putrefying coyote innards. Hope this helps.
  7. I'm going to quote you on every LPC thread from now on. I wonder if it could ever be determined who hid the VERY FIRST instance of every type of cache that tends to get the hackles up around here: nanos, LPCs, Hide-A-Key, etc. (in a non-ironic way, naturally). I mean....they HAD to start *somewhere* right? Can't blame it all on newbies.
  8. - P-38 military can openers - keychain LED flashlights - little clear cases with several compartments (like you would find in a tackle box).
  9. Post your "Found It!" log, and then click on the text inside your log that says "upload an image for this log." That will take you to a screen that will ask where on your C:\ drive the photo is. Might help if you have already made the photo a manageable size (not too large).
  10. Holy cow, this is like the Off-Topic Olympics!
  11. Most of our safety discussions involve alligators.
  12. I usually geocache with between 2 and 4 kids (hence the "Team" part of my ID), ages 7 to 13. If I were to get to a place/situation that I felt was unsafe, I would call it off. They might talk me into it, though (they are pretty adventurous).
  13. Hey, I've been wrong before....those quotes in my sig are referring to ME!
  14. Huh? I thought the folks that were working on the pole did this, not gooseman99. His log said "went to coordinates. location is gone and note was left where cache was moved to."
  15. I've only seen one LPC, but there were no wires under there...it would seem the wiring goes up inside the pole itself?
  16. I wouldn't know it was a cacher's first hide unless they mentioned it in the cache description (which I can't recall seeing first-hand, although I've read about it here).
  17. It was part of my parole conditions. I still have to see my reviewer once a week.
