ammo cans > other stuff
I've placed 4 caches: 2 micros, one nano, and one ammo can, and I feel a lot better about the ammo can.
I've also given away about 6 (or 8?) ammo cans to local cachers, pre-camo'ed and ready to go, so I don't feel so horrible about my smaller containers.
Anyway, I'm not really about the swag, but I just dig an ammo can (I'm ex-military).

My 5-year-old Garmin Geko 101 still works like a charm.

Sounds like you need to work on your communication skills.
If you're going to tell me I'm ugly, at least make me look forward to finding a mirror.

6.Obviously, all traffic laws will be obeyed.
Now that's just crazy.

If I was a serious waymarker, I'd submit it, hoping to score a new category.

Yes, but with a totally fictitious map I made on posterboard back in 5th grade as part of an assignment on pirates.
So far it has worked out quite well.

I don't see a lot of difference between your description of the cache in the OP and their description of the cache in their log.

I thought for sure this was going to be whip-related.

Long, but well worth the read!

Sometimes a DNF will psyche out the next person to not really look to hard before giving up, and posting a second DNF. The second DNF will make the cache seem like it is missing, and create a snowball effect, causing each cacher in procession to look in the wrong area and verify the cache is not there.
I've seen that effect, but around here the opposite holds true, too: a cache gets a couple of DNFs and then it's like a contest to see who can actually find it.

100 caches in a day - How?
Caffeine.

It was cruel but fun.
My thoughts exactly...I think initially I'd be POed, but then I'd get a kick out of it.
But hey, I like puzzles.

I've used my wife's TomTom One a few times...it's pretty easy to manually input lat-long.
Not my first choice, but it works in a pinch.

If you reply with with negative comment to their post, is it fair if they can ban you or warn you under their moderator name?
I've never seen anyone get banned for simply replying with a negative comment. It's always much, much more.

If you have a tool to draw blood, you have a tool to draw (for example) chlorophyll.

P.S. I just realized that you thought I was responding to you (I was responding to the OP).

Goofy? Is that a technical term? I like to read through old logs. If I read a particularly good DNF I have to scour all the logs to see if they ever managed to make the find. That simple note added to the DNF is interesting information to me. Not goofy at all.
I'm sorry that we disagree.

I've seen that a couple of times. Seems kinda goofy.

Fabulous!
P.S. Happy birthday.

The Notes are worse than the Found It logs.

I think it would be a good addition (and I don't *mind* nanos), but as much as it has been talked about without any action, I just don't see it happening.
Using hints, does it diminish the find?

Are you kidding? I decipher that hint before the page even finishes loading.
