For me Geocashing is a FREE plus.. My GPS is for my motorcycle, same for gas, PDA, everything..... In fact I get a FREE benefit of more walking and hiking..... So for me this IS CHEEP......... Lateck

I found this while researching a GPS unit for motorcycle (street) trips. I wanted to track my rides through the local mountains. I now find I can down load some cache coordinates and ride out and search. Another good reason for a ride After tiring some it's been fun. Lateck

I am very new to this sport, I live nearby and ride (street motorcycle) through the area in question. I downloaded some cashes a few days ago and the went back yesterday to recheck the listings and they were gone. Now with this thread I see why. TrailGators, I have a question for you or some of the cool headed ones. What can I(We) do to help clear up this problem with out creating a larger one? I would like to respect the fine area and the people that manage it for us but I would also like to keep a family activity going. Sincerely, Lateck

I am a noob also. I went with the 60CSx for use on my street motorcycle and for hiking, before I found out about Geocashing. I am a little miffed at the prices and that the hand held unit is almost not usable straight out of the box A unit aimed at primary use in a car is cheaper, larger screen and has the maps installed..but is cumbersome for hand held use. The three units listed in the start of the thread are all good units and with extra maps can fill all uses I have found. The 60CSx having a little larger screen and it is very visible in the sunlight is my pick. Sincerely, Lateck -

Hi; I'm Lateck and I got a GPSr for tracking and some navigation on my Sport/Touring motorcycle. I found this site when researching what to buy. I have learned what Geocashing is and it looks real fun and gives me a reason to point my trusted mount in a new direction and search out a new cashe (A real good reason for a ride) I look forward to posting and interacting with the group.
