Is there any way to remove my trackables from the choice list when I log a cache. I have some that I have placed in my collection and some not. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, all my trackables are available to either drop or visit. It makes it hard and time consuming when I am moving other cachers TB's and I want to log them as visited. What am I doing wrong??? I can't seem to figure this out. Any Advise??

Agreed. I just don't know how to be heard by GS. They seem to make changes without input from the users and members and then what recourse do we have. How do we let them know there are still problems? All the posts on here don't seem to do much about anything where changes are concerned. This is just us making suggestions to each other on how to work around things. Us helping us. How do we involve Groundspeak? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we have the forum. It has helped me quite a few times over the years. I just wish they would make it a little easier to be heard.

You are right. I am referencing the quick link index. It starts off "Quickview, Lists, Trackables(Yours) ETC. I remember these links available on more than just one page. Now, if you want to get to your bookmark list, you must first click on your cacher name at the top of the page, then click on Lists from the menu. They have even changed the bookmark pages too. You used to be able to drill back from a bookmark page to your bookmark list. Now, in order to get back you must follow the steps as I've mentioned above. That's three steps that used to be handled in one. I just don't get it!!

Why is it that everyone has to try and change the way this Hobby/Game is played to suit their likes or dislikes. If you don't like streaks don't do them. If you don't like challenges, don't do them. I'm not a certified scuba diver and it would be expensive to become one. Should they ban scuba caches? It could be dangerous to climb high in a tree, should they ban tree hides? The answer to both is NO. It very simple....IF YOU LIKE IT DO IT, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T DO IT!!! Things like this lead me to think this is why a one year moratorium was placed on challenges. For those of us who have been in the game for years, this kinds of things add a little more excitement to the game.

Is there any way to get the Quickview page on other pages? One of the options I use most is bookmark lists. Since the recent updates, the only way I have found to get to them is to work my way back to the My Profile page and select lists from there. Quickview used to be at the top of every page. The list option is not available in the drop down menu's either. Another problem with the bookmarks is that there is no way to get back to the bookmark list after you have made and entry or edited one of your bookmarks. You have to go back to My Profile page then select lists from the Quickview. There used to be a like at the top of every bookmark page. Is there any way to correct this? Any suggestions?

This is the worst idea since stopping victuals. The search tool is good for it's purpose but to take away the old way of searching is terrible. There is no way to search by GC code, Hidden by, Found by. What have you done. This is a large community and this is a drastic change. Changing some of the features is fine but why take away the ability to search other things, When this was brought to premium members to test and then we were asked what we think, there was no mention that this was taking the place of anything. It was sold to us as more of an enhancement. I and most I have spoken to don't like it. It should be change back.

How long should I wait before contacting the person that picked up my first travel bug. This is my first one and I took it to New York so it could get a good start. It was picked up and logged the next day and the cacher said he would be dropping it in North Carolina after his vacation. It has been almost a month and nothing. What should I do? Thanks for the input.

Brand new Colorado 400t. Only used a few times. Purchesed about a month ago, but prefer my Dell Axim and CF Que. I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Unit is preloaded with U.S. Topo mapping and you get every thing that comes in the package. I paid $550.00 with shipping. I am asking $475.00 and I will pay for shipping. Maybe someone can help. I have downloaded GPX files for use in my Dell Axim Pocket PC. I have GPXView installed. I can open all files and everything is there but the problem is the waypoint converts to a single decimal instead of degrees and minutes. Example: N26 07.771 W080 14.916 Will show in my downloaded files as: N26.12952 W80.24860 Can anyone help. I'm kind of new at this and I have to enter waypoints by hand because I have a Garmin CF Que that plugs into my Axim and I can't download waypoints into it for some reason. I am new to Geocaching and am having trouble downloading waypoints to my Garmin cfQue. I downloaded the Garmin Communicator and when I go to the test page, it recognizes my GPS and also recognizes a removable disk (K:\). My GPS is attached to a Dell Axium X5. I also have a 1 gig SD card for extra space. The Axium is attached to my computer by USB cable. When I click "Download to GPS" from the cache details menu, the Garmin Communicator window opens and I then have to click "Send to GPS". After doing this I get a Windows Internet Explorer dialog box that states "There is a problem communicating with the data card. Ensure that the removable drive is plugged in and that a card is correctly inserted". After pressing OK, the Garmin Communicator box states the following: Water Fall (GC10G54) geocache saved successfully Devices: Removable Disk (K:\)Garmin Que Powered by Garmin Communicator I'm not sure what is going on. Can someone please help me. I am currently waiting for my premium number to arrive and then I could try downloading gpx files directly to the Axium. Thanks in advance for your help. Dockdog
