Hide it first, if your area is like most others, as soon as it's approved, the FTF hounds will be out in full force, so you want the cache there in place.

Getting readty to release my first bug into the wild. I have a cache near me, but I want to take my bug to another area on a trip next week, so my question is how do I do it so it will get the most miles? Do I drop it and then retrieve it in the one near me and then take it on my trip? What does dipping mean?

Having upgraded to the Oregon from a Mag. gold. I love the field notes. And no you do not have to be a premium member, My daughter uses the field notes as well and she does not have a membership. Be sure to delete the log file to avoid duplication. When you log onto geocaching.com click on your name in the top right corner, scroll down to access your field notes, follow directions from there. It's really easy.

I had a newbe DNF one of mine and in his post he said a hint would help, so I e mailed him a hint and he loged a find the next day. Sometimes just asking is all it takes.

Hey, I was the OP on that thread. It got so off track that I quit following it, now I feel bad because I'm on other boardv and thats the first post I started that got locked. BTW, I never did hide that LPC.
