  1. Here is a link to the players profile. The same day they posted here, they changed their user name from kathyov to MiMi_and_Grands. My suggestion to the OP would be to logout both on the webside and the forum and then log back in. If that doesn't work they should contact HQ for help using this form.
  2. Turns out it's a letterbox not a geocache. I'll message the OP with a link.
  3. That is a great list! You are way more organized than I am. Do you have a similar list for Lackey coins? If it helps (to the best of my knowledge); 5862 – Geocaching Trackable Patches was given out in 2013, 7615 – Volunteer Compass Geocoin - 2014, 8381 – Signal Bottle Opener Geocoin - 2015, 9230 – Friend of the Frog Geocoin - 2016. Obey New Zealand was given out in 2012, and Obey Las Vegas was given out in 2013. Again, to the best of my knowledge, there were no volunteer specific trackables give out in 2006, 2007, or 2009.
  4. Is this confirmed from HQ? While it may not be a chain I don't believe it would allowed. Here is a link to the Help Center article on Bonus caches. Quoting from the article: No geocache can have more than one cache dependent on it. Looking at the diagram if any one of the traditional caches goes missing both bonus caches, in theory, become unfindable. Put more simply a single traditional cache can have one bonus cache dependent on it but not two.
  5. You're welcome. I am curious. Can you see it now on the map etc.? I didn't need to use any special reviewer powers to find it. I just looked where you described and there it was. A "found it" log from last October with corrected coordinates clinched that it was the right one.
  6. I used my reviewer powers and set the posted coordinates to virtual. You also had two final waypoints entered (though neither showed in the edit screen). I deleted one and left the one your checker said was correct. Try editing the page now and double check that everything looks okay.
  7. I reported his latest name change to HQ and also directed them to this thread. Edited to add the account is now locked/banned. If he creates another account and continues to do this you should report it to HQ or let me know and I will.
  8. The guidelines cover it pretty well:
  9. I'm only referring to the free trails that are available for reviewers to give out. Perhaps there are shorter period ones available from other sources, I don't know, but reviewers have access to 30 day trial codes and are encouraged to give them out to anyone that's interested. Again, they're only available to basic members who have never been a premium member. I'd encourage the OP to contact the local reviewer they normally work with and ask.
  10. This is correct. The free trials are for 30 days and are only available to basic members who have never been a premium member. They are true "free" trials, no credit card is required. At the end of the trial (30 days) your membership reverts back to basic.
  11. That's very sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family and friends. I reviewed and clearly remember the first cache he placed back in April of 2008. I couldn't publish it because it was too close to some other caches and I believe it was also the only cache he ever submitted who's name didn't start with "Caitlyn's Cache...". Through the years I published many of his caches and while we didn't always agree, he always argued his point courteously and I enjoyed working with him. He'll be missed.
  12. This looks like a possibility. GCJJTF Infamous Travel Bug Prison Oklahoma Branch
  13. I'm one of the Idaho reviewers and would possibly be reviewing these caches. Hiding caches in conjunction with an event is not uncommon and there is no rule to prevent you from doing it. However, just because there's no rule against it doesn't mean it's a good idea. This is a CITO event, I think it's best to focus on that and not have people abandoning their CITO duties to rush off for a FTF. I've attended several CITOs, we've never had any caches published during the event like you describe and we've always had a good turnout. They've also been among the most enjoyable and popular events I've attended.
  14. Thanks everyone, for the nice welcome. I'm looking forward to publishing lots of great caches!
