I just started caching in December. I must tell all of you that I have been to 4 different group meetings. I just wandered into a coffee house in NC one night amongst a group of cachers and before I left I felt like I had made some friends. I also just popped into a meeting near Mytrle Beach one night on vacation and was taken right in. The way I got hooked into SCPC was by just showing up at a roadside park and started picking up trash with a bunch of strangers. Most of my friends think I am crazy but I think I could not have picked a better thing to get hooked on. I think I could just wander into any of the groups on these pages and be invited in with open arms. I am proud to be a cacher. (Sappy I know but gosh I am feeling the love) LOL I know all the groups are the best just one will be luckier than the rest. Good luck everyone.

I Love that big honking logo. When I started caching, I had one find under my belt and saw this group having a CITO(I had no idea what a CITO was) and I knew I was going to meet some people that knew more about this thing called Caching. I showed up and there was only one person there. More came and they were all such friendly people. We did 3 CITOs that day and then cached that night. I have only been a member for 3 months but everyone almost seems like family. When I am at a CITO everyone seems genuinley concerned about keeping our parks and playgrounds clean. I live about 50 miles from where SCPC is located, but it is a trip I gladly make to enjoy my friends and make a difference in a community. I take my daughter and show her that helping makes you feel good and always make a difference any way you can. I don't have much to add about why SCPC is a wonderful group. I just wanted to brag about a group of wonderful people. T
