Your warranty only covers the first unit you buy, not the refurbished one. Look it up. Plus the warranty covers "..any components.." The entire unit cannot be considered a component. A component is a microprocessor, transistor, resistor, etc, so technically they cannot replaced the unit with a refurbished one. They can only refurbish yours.
