Limit is 2 per buyer and only those who didn't get any gold... or should it be those who didn't get any coins... or should I just list these back on ebay.. I'm so confused. I know no matter what I do they'll be someone that gets pissed off.

Ebay timed sales are great for things that aren't in such limited quantitys. I thought the sales of the TFTC and Kansas coins were well handled. But announcing that you are selling 15 of a limited number of 50 coins is just kind of silly, especially in sales spaced so far apart. If they had all been sold at the same time chances are you nobody would get all 3 but hopefully more people would have got at least one coin. But that's just my 2 cents. I appreciate that and will think about that if there's a next time. I have a feeling though no matter how these are run, there will always be someone who isn't happy.

Why the increase in price? Just because there are so few? Partly because there are so few, partly because I'll be giving most of them away but mainly because I think that's what they're worth. I might be wrong but the market will tell me that tonight. Actually, they're probably worth more than that. I could put them up for auction and find out the fair market value if you prefer.

They are ready to be minted and it should be more like 4 - 5 weeks. Just covering all the bases. I'd rather tell you 6-8 weeks and then surprise you when I get them in 4 or 5 weeks.

Now that v2 is shipped it's time for v3. This coin features the Block Island Lighthouse in RI. Unlike the other 2, this coin will be color on both sides, cut out and oval shape. As usual, the sales will be on ebay. These are already scheduled and will start precisely at the posted times. With the new mint these should be shipped much faster than the last set. Here's another option: If you think your photo would be considered a spoiler, email it to the cache owner and ask him, "Would you mind if I post this picture." I've done that before and most of the time they'll say No Problem and they always appreciate that I asked.

That's correct however, they're not always so friendly. (But that's not the point.) Once you find out if the land public property you don't need permission any more than those folks who are fishing and swimming. Go ahead and hide your cache.

I received an email regarding a cache I found well over a year ago. This was a super easy cache. It was hidden in an opening of a tree, nothing tricky you knew where it was from 100 feet away. I got an email from the cache owner a couple of weeks ago kindly asking me to delete the picture. I didn't see the point but then again, I didn't have to. It's not my cache. He thought the picture took away from the overall experience of hunting his cache and I respected that. Then of course I went back to the cache site and posted signs everywhere with arrows saying: The Cache is Here! The Cache is Here!

Caching on LI would be much better if that was the case here. For intents and purposes, they have eliminated caching in State Parks here.

I've been wanting to ask this but never remember to post. ADD gets the better of me sometimes. Anyway, the other NYS permit thread reminded me. In Region 1, Long Island, it's taking 2 months to get our permit once we submit the application. Please let me know what your time frame is and what region you're in. Thanks.
