I'm using an iPhone 6 running 10.2.1 and had trouble after the update with the compass distance. The miles/feet number does not change as I get closer to the cache. The numbers under the cache title on the cache page to the right of the favorite points does change, giving accurate distance to destination. I haven't done much testing on other devices, but was wondering if this is a known bug.

Found this tree at the end of a mystery cache in New Jersey

Check out my website below, you can't beat the price for bisons

On my site I sell a little Christmas tree that comes with bisons and nanos all wrapped up!
Check it out below.

The "tree huggers" are going to have a cow with this one. Very cool! I love it!!
Took the Father-in-law along to finish some touch ups. The lead is a regular sized container.
The cache goes by the name of "No Need To BYOP"...
I don't know how to add a link to this post, so...
Great idea!
Keep the cool cache containers comin'

As for cheap containers, I take into account that cheap includes the amount of times I have to replace the container. Sometimes it's worth it to get a heavier duty container to begin with because paying for it once might be less than having to buy the container several times.
I agree!
I really find peanut butter jars to be a very good cheap container. They actually stay fairly dry inside. They are good containers, but the smell remains which the animals love

Splinterheads was awful.
Agreed! Geocaching is family friendly, and this movie was not something I would watch with the kids.

Completed container ready to go into the field:
When opened, a CD is ejected by spinning rubber rollers. The CD has a recording of the coords to the next stage. When done listening to the CD, the cacher flips a switch, which reverses the rollers, and allows the CD to be put pack. A limit switch at the top edge cuts the power when the ammo box is closed, therefore giving the battery a long lifetime in the field.
We hope to avoid a bomb scare by clearly marking the container as a geocache.
Is there anyway you can get a bigger picture so we can see the inside of the can? I am interested in how you rigged it up inside. Maybe a few bigger pictures would be nice!

I have a copy and watched it a few days ago. It only touches on Geocaching and isn't a real good film. I would have liked to see it incorporate more of geocaching and more of a family friendly movie. Because that's what Geocaching is all about.
The part where she is on the side of the road looking for the waterfall isn't accurate. Unless her GPS is miles off, or waas is not enabled LOL
The movie really let me down.

Congratulations! Way to go!
I am pretty close! I started 6/2003

It's bad when the coords are off or your GPS has WAAS disabled and you are knocking on everyones door or roaming on their lawn
Never happened to me, I usually look at a map before hand to see which house it is and where it is located on the property.

don't exterminate me! if you need nanos check out my profile
I found that micro that you hid on the end of that odd section of guardrail that somehow extended 10 feet into the middle of the lake. I shimmied out there and although it did delight me, you will need to name the source of your nano supplier so we can track the origin..
I am so glad you like that one!

OK. I guess that as long as Bison Design doesn't aggressivly defend their trademark, you can get away with that. I'm sure you're hardly the only one. But I wish they would, because there is a difference.
No. I use Bison as the name of the type of container. They aren't brand named.
You call them Bison (with a capital "B"): are they the genuine Bison brand?I sell them for the cheapest on my site with free shipping! I can't post advertising links here but if you click my name to the left, the link is on my profileIncidentally, clicking on "Visit Homepage" does not yield the correct URL. Possibly another bug in the recent update? You may want to check it out and report it.
Did you do something to fix the link to your homepage? I was going to file a bug report about it for you, but in the process, suddenly it started to work.
lol yea http:// would help

I am having an issue with uploading drafts on two separate devices. If I create a log and save it as a draft from the app, it works. If I then upload my geocaching visits for the day, it overwrites my draft log that I submitted through the app. Is this a known bug/limitation? Thanks
