I'm using an iPhone 6 running 10.2.1 and had trouble after the update with the compass distance. The miles/feet number does not change as I get closer to the cache. The numbers under the cache title on the cache page to the right of the favorite points does change, giving accurate distance to destination. I haven't done much testing on other devices, but was wondering if this is a known bug.

Cheapest Cache Containers
ChaseOnTheGo replied to EVIL Ninjection's topic in General geocaching topics
I agree! They are good containers, but the smell remains which the animals love -
Agreed! Geocaching is family friendly, and this movie was not something I would watch with the kids.

Is there anyway you can get a bigger picture so we can see the inside of the can? I am interested in how you rigged it up inside. Maybe a few bigger pictures would be nice! -

Splinterheads - new movie has geocaching in it!
ChaseOnTheGo replied to majormajor42's topic in General geocaching topics
I have a copy and watched it a few days ago. It only touches on Geocaching and isn't a real good film. I would have liked to see it incorporate more of geocaching and more of a family friendly movie. Because that's what Geocaching is all about. The part where she is on the side of the road looking for the waterfall isn't accurate. Unless her GPS is miles off, or waas is not enabled LOL The movie really let me down. -
Congratulations! Way to go! I am pretty close! I started 6/2003

Caches placed in a yard/lawn/driveway - IS IT CREEPY?
ChaseOnTheGo replied to WHO-DEY's topic in General geocaching topics
It's bad when the coords are off or your GPS has WAAS disabled and you are knocking on everyones door or roaming on their lawn Never happened to me, I usually look at a map before hand to see which house it is and where it is located on the property. -
I found that micro that you hid on the end of that odd section of guardrail that somehow extended 10 feet into the middle of the lake. I shimmied out there and although it did delight me, you will need to name the source of your nano supplier so we can track the origin.. I am so glad you like that one!

Cheapest place to buy bison tubes
ChaseOnTheGo replied to ItisTrue's topic in General geocaching topics
You call them Bison (with a capital "B"): are they the genuine Bison brand? Incidentally, clicking on "Visit Homepage" does not yield the correct URL. Possibly another bug in the recent update? You may want to check it out and report it. No. I use Bison as the name of the type of container. They aren't brand named. OK. I guess that as long as Bison Design doesn't aggressivly defend their trademark, you can get away with that. I'm sure you're hardly the only one. But I wish they would, because there is a difference. Did you do something to fix the link to your homepage? I was going to file a bug report about it for you, but in the process, suddenly it started to work. lol yea http:// would help -
