Geocaching with Mobile Phone (Geocache Navigator)

I use the GN on my Nextel i560, I only have one problem with it. It seems that the GPS on the phone doesn't update alot. I can be 30ft from a cache and walk 50ft and it doesn't even recognize it will still say 30ft ahead. Anybody had this problem? Or is this just a problem with this model phone? So I just use the GN to get the info and everything else and I punch it into my Garmin eTrex and have much better results.
