Yes ..... once I was heading in the right direction ..... got completely disorientated at first .... maybe I need an underwater GPS? Shhh! I think "Goldpot" is an addict .... once we'd found the offending item & been for a couple of drinks, he was off looking for caches .... in Poole! It was a real pleasure meeting you, "Goldpot", & I was so glad to have been able to find your unit. Hope you are as lucky with the final outcome! If there are any benevolent 'cachers' around the Wimborne/Poole area who would like to help out a complete 'caching virgin, I'd be pleased to hear from you!

Hi Goldpot I live near Poole & I am a diver! So if you would like to "have a search party" I'd be willing to give you a hand! As one of the other items suggested you might have to get permission first, but after that ..... no probs! When would you like to do it? I'm very expensive though .... at least 2 pints!! Hi Scuba Thanks for the welcome! From what I've read elsewhere it appears that the HCx is supposed to be about as good as it gets. The only problem I've had .... so far .... is that the manual is not very explicit, & being a complete beginner, I'm confused already. Chris
