I have found a TB in a cache I disabled and when I put the code in to log it I get the message that that code does not exist in the system. ????? should I do? Scottbob139

"You see, my theory is that hunting goes hand in hand with heavy drinking." Are all your theories this general? I hunt geocaches as well as quail, and heavy drinking is not included in either sport.

Last year, a caching buddy and I came upon a smoldering "camp fire" in the Trinity River bottoms. A big roll of wire was smoldering in the coals, having the insulation burned off. The hair on our necks pretty much stood on end as we looked around us in the woods to try to determine whether we were being watched. Being good Texans, both of us were armed, but.... you don't wanna have to prove it. I marked the spot on my GPSr and went to the local cop shop and showed it to a detective on Google Earth. They checked it out but to my knowledge never caught the wire thieves.

Can someone, in simple language (steps) explain how to set a background picture on a cache page? I can see the spot to do it on the "create a cache" page, but have been unsucessful doing this. I know what an url is but thought I could just upload an image and have it show up as the background. Not so. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Scottbob139 Fort Worth, Texas

I found #12 today. Does a picture of it side by side with a picture of me count? or do I need to be holding it? Sorry, don't have time to read all the threads at this point to see if someone's already asked that. Also, haven't participated in one of these forums before. Going to St. John's area in July and would appreciate any info on caching there. Is there a search by google maps Canada version? Found plenty of coordinates for caches in Newfoundland/Labrador, but no maps to narrow them down to area I am traveling. I'm new at this so it could be a big duh answer . I don't mind.
