Title says it all. I have a sd chip from my 400T for sale. The chip, bought with the data already on it, details lakes in Minnesota. Many even had one foot intervals. I paid over 100 plus shipping, willing to let it go for $80 dollars plus shipping. Mack

I know we are all thinking this, so I'm just going to say it. For being a college student, your use of spelling, punctuation, and grammar SUCK! Try spelling out the word instead of using some abbreviation. Also, capitalize"I" and use periods!

The topic of buying a Vista HCX for 100-150 has been beaten to death. No one in their right mid will do it. Move on to something you can afford... -
Free: Palm M105 PDA (collect, Cambridge UK)
teppupkcos replied to Stanli's topic in GPS technology and devices
Simply put, no. Take the time to read throught the "getting started" tab on geocaching.com The PDA simply holds the infomation from the cache page... You still need a GPS to direct you. Good luck -

How would a pda allow you to stop using your friend's GPS? (and proofread next time...) -
What are you, his sock puppet account? If the guy was recommending a different GPSr, thats his opinion. Second, the price was high. One can easily be bought NEW for 300 dollars. Thanks for your thoughts though

Selective Availability Reinstated?
teppupkcos replied to teppupkcos's topic in General geocaching topics
Wow, thanks to everyone for playing along. No, Selective Availability has obviously not been turned on. Think of all the airplanes, travellers, convicted felons (ankle bracelets), and surveyors Thanks to everyone that played along. Also, please refrain from tearing apart the mods. They didn't delete anything (as a few level headed people pointed out). Don't forget to look for the pale blue note on the bottom of the post for edits. While the SA was supposed to be the main joke, I was impressed with the number of responses defending and criticizing the Mods. Thanks for playing along **Deleted by mod** -
This morning, during a search for a geocache (GCYH63) I found myself in the middle of a 4 lane highway. While I've experienced inaccuracy before, this was obviously no place for a cache. After checking for culverts, I gave up and went out to eat. When I got to **removed by moderator**, I noticed that my GPS was 893 feet off. I didn't think much of it until i got home and noticed that i was off by 902 feet. I started to wonder what the possible cause of this could be. I called a friend of mine from college (he was in electrical engineering). He checked his GPS (same as mine) and confirmed an error of 865 feet. This scared him enough that he quickly made some calls to some of his buddies from the military. Now, he won't tell me exactly, but the US may be preparing an attack on a foreign country. He said it wasn't a world power, but he refused to elaborate further. I don't know where to go with this so i'm asking you. My brother was recently deployed to a carrier in the Indian Ocean. I've emailed him, but haven' heard anything back yet. As he is really good with responding promptly, this has me worried. Has anyone else experienced large errors with their GPS?

Look on ebay. Also, does your daughter's computer have a serial cable input or will you need an adaptor to USB? -
Yes there is. The answer is too many. Waaaaayyyyyy too many. Why do you say that? I think there is plenty of room for more geocachers.

You "might" be interested? This is your third post about the Vista Hcx. No one is going to part with their current gps at a monetary loss. Accept that and try to find one more in your means... Just stop spamming the forums. -
