  1. Welcome to Jersey, you get used to the smell.
  2. When I started caching I didn't log my finds due to lack of regular access to a computer.(library)I was also keen on the anonymity one has in the sport. It wasn't until I placed a cache that I realised the importance of online logging.
  3. I placed "Do or do not there is no try" along the Palisades(sorry i don't know how to place the link thing so you can go to the page)on Nov.2nd.No finds and only one attempt. It was approved late so it never made it onto the new cache update. So if any wants a first to find go ahead.
  4. On nightline last night there was a story about a man searching for buried treasure from the Civil War.He used a grid made up from clues left on trees and rocks in the woods.I'm really not doing this justice I'm sure others who saw this show can elaborate on this facinating story.
  5. I ran into the same problem and the admin said that they were having problems in Jersey approving caches.Mine took a week, they usually take two days.A polite reminder wouldn't hurt.
  6. I'm thirty six and get recurring cases of gout that lay me up for days.Any suggestions would help.
  7. I have been caching for the last eight months and have a modest twenty or so finds.I don't have regular access to a computer(public library)so I have not logged most of my finds. After placing my own cache I realised that its important that people log their finds. My question is do I go back and notify the caches that I have found and guess the date I found it,some over six months ago.Do I use the current date and explain that I am lazy?Or do I not bother at all as too much time has passed.Appreciate the help,Continental Drifter.
  8. A great example of geocaching in films is the ending of Shawshank Redemption.
