Walmart wouldn't match their own website price? Yet another reason why Wal-Mart blows! To stay on topic I have a Magellan Meridian and love it.

I'm coming late to this but I'd like to add that I never use waypoints or the map screen.I just go by the lattitude and longitude.And when I'm close I stop so the gps can settle and then like others have said"Where would I hide it?" Nine times out of ten their coords match up with whats on my Magellan.I'm glad you have a your first finds.

Central park does have some good caches.If you don't have to stay in the city you can consider staying across the Hudson river in New jersey.Hotels would be cheaper and access to city is easy.You would have to rent a car but there a quite a few good caches on the Jersey side of the River.The area is called the Palisades which runs the length of the Hudson up past the George Washington Bridge.Hope you enjoy your visit.

I would say;Just go after any Briansnat cache!

38 Growing older not up!

A new wallet thats on me now.Also an inexpensive but accurate compass that I use everyday I cache.Both of these came from well stocked Briansnat caches.Of course I left crap in exchange.(just kidding)

Extra pair of socks.Nothing is worse than a long hike back with wet feet especially this time of year.Also the drive back home is no treat no matter how high the heat is.Voice of experience.

I'd say thats a five star for both difficulty and terrain!

Forgot to mention that it was out of power.I don't own a cellphone myself so I have no way to charge it.

I was caching today on the blue trail at Splitrock resevoir going after the Blueberry Hill cache.Right before the stream you must cross to get to the cache site I found a rather expensive cell phone sitting on a rock. If its yours e-mail me and tell me the model and I'll be happy to mail it to you.

I find myself gravitating towards any type of figure.I found a rubber gorilla that I liked so that started me on a menagarie of animals,cartoon characters and superheros that I display proudly.
