  1. Brian B. The Shelter series was an excellent group of caches.
  2. I'm changing internet providers so I think I'm going to lose my old e-mail address. Can I change e-mail addresses on my account and still keep all my stats?
  3. My original post was about the parking area down the hill on Skyline by the gaslines where you can jump on the cannonball trail.Thats where I saw the no parking signs.
  4. Went to go after the new GONE caches and was going to start my hike at the gas pipeline off Skyline drive. There seems to be new no parking signs with arrows indicating no parking in the whole area.Used to be you just didn't have to block the gate. I didn't want to take any chances so I parked at the upper lot.Has anyone had any problems parking down there?
  5. Welcome! Cool name,I'm suffering from the mudfoot right now.

  8. The "One spot"area at Target is great I filled a whole cache with things from there.Pretty much any dollar store has decent trade items. My personal favorite is Dollar Tree.
  9. In regards to the LLbean staff. If its the one with the two poistion "cane"like handle be warned its not very long.I'm only five nine and had to return one because it was too short, even extended all the way.Leki makes some nice staffs and I don't cache without mine.

  11. Has anyone had any problems with leaving a car overnight at the Anthony Wayne parking area at Harriman? Looking to do some camping.Thanks.
  12. Welcome! Glad your first find was a good one
  13. What drew me to this sport was that it was presented to me as a wilderness activity. My love of the outdoors and the fact that I only hunt caches in the woods has kept me interested since 03 and I don't see myself stopping.I think many who come to the sport now hear about hidden things they can find with a gps and excitedely jump right in.What they find in their early searches are the lame micros and caches in playgrounds. That can get old pretty quick.Unless they are of an adventurous spirit and enjoy the longer hikes. These people will move on to something else.
  14. Snoogans, tequila ,midori, and OJ??? You are one brave man.
