  1. Has anyone complained yet about all of the complaints?
  2. I'd start with a forum search on the key word "paperless." Results galore
  3. By the time we're old, I'll be using the chip in my hand and complaining about you in front of me using your debit card and slowing up the line. Stupid ADKcache slowing up the line with his debit card. I'm already annoyed just thinking about it. Hey, you're right. I feel old already. I'm going to go out and find a micro (keeping subject on track.)
  4. I like to think that sometimes my commentary has an edge. I really don't mean to be rude. I find it very tiring when people complain. It seems like there is a large, vocal segment of people who like to gripe about how no one does anything for them and everyone else should take responsibility. I have little patience for people that whine about things and have nothing to offer to alleviate the situation that has their collective panties in a bunch. What's worse is that this is another of the topics that have been discussed into the ground in multiple posts. There are probably five general themes here that are chewed on ad nauseam. That's why I have an edge. Grow up people!
  5. Now, now ADK, one day (sooner than you might think) you'll likely - indeed most certainly, BE one of those "old people". I'll be old, but I'll be using the debit card.
  6. If you really need something nice for yourself, maybe you could stop and buy something on your way back from the cache.
  7. Since this has been discussed before, isn't this thread actually a form of trash? Bandwidth trash.
  8. How about the old people in the checkout line who slowly dig out the exact change from the little, oval shaped change purse?
  9. Painted rocks and trees no, painted, artificial plastic or ammo can, yes. We're afloat in a sea of contradiction.
  10. I'm more offended by bad spelling or grammar, but mentioning that here has raised the ire of many members.
  11. Swag is for the children and they are usually pleased easily. The adventure is the prize for adults. If you're fortunate enough to be doing this with kids, their enjoyment is a bonus gift for you.
  12. Hey, I'm not too far from you. Is your sister's friend attractive?
  13. Maybe you could throw in some pop-ups too.
  14. Wow, now I think that I've seen every complaint. From lack of parking coords to poorly hidden containers and now this? Perhaps some of us should wait until the technology exists to allow the caches to soar effortlessly through the air and find us.
  15. Please don't...it just adds trash to a cache. I have to agree with Gobolts. It's not much fun to open up the bag that contains the logbook and have all of the sig cards falling out, most of them are printed on an inkjet printer which does not produce waterproof results. Sig cards seem to be an attempt to be "unique like everyone else." Sorry to sound so negative. I would suggest channeling your creativity into creating an interesting cache container.
  16. Oh boy, what's next? The "How Would Jesus Cache" post?
  17. I guess I'm missing something. Is this supposed to be interesting or thought provoking?
  18. I have a Nerdlinger 2000, oh boy, I just love gadgets.
  19. You mean we're supposed to come up with stories and excuses? All this time I was just going about my business and not worrying about other people.
  20. Just wondering if anyone out there drives a route on the job and has hidden any caches along the way. Perhaps to observe potential finders.
