Toinen tonni tuli eilen täyteen Hämeenlinnassa Castle Barracks kätköllä.

End of story for that coin. I just dont have time or interest for that kind of s***...

I just edited description as Droo suggested. At this morning(6am utc) i send ,very polite, email to that person who placed it to that third event on row... This far no answer of anykind. I also writed note to coins page were i asked him\her to pick it up from that newest event.

I have this "Gingko Leaf" (TB3CWQ7) coin which i last summer left in cache in Lisboa. In its description it´s said that it dont want to go events. But after i left it, it´s not have been in any caches,only events. When it was dropped to "An Oxford Gathering" event i send message to dropper and he promised to remove it from there. To that "Milkshake Event #007" event it was dropped 2 days after event was kept... I edited name of that coin after it had been left to that "Milkshake Event #007" event. Is it really so that there´s no need to respect owners request´s or care about travellers mission???

When hiding this we never thought that someone could find this cache disrespecting or inappropiate. If we have thought that ,we would have hidden it to somewhere else. Reason for caches hiding place is simply that we wanted to use regular size container close to that very beautiful church. In Finland we have lots of caches hidden close to churches and cemetarys. Caches have been hidden even church walls (behind drainpipes) and (too) many caches have been hidden on those cemetary stonewalls. There is also multi caches that require walking around cemetary and collecting info from gravestones. 132 visitors have found this and two of them have been Finnish cache reviewers. Before that noone has thought that there is anything disrespecting on that hiding place.

Kuinkahan tämän CITOn käy tänä keväänä... Tuohon adoptointiasiaan liittyen olin itsekin yhteydessä museovirastoon jo viime keväänä mutta tuolloin homma kaatui siihen että kohteita annetaan hoidettavaksi vain yhdistyksille.

Meidän 5:stä TB:stämme enää 1 on tallessa. Yhden vei tulva,Yksi jäi ruotsalaiselle kätköilijälle joka ei sitä lupauksistaan huolimatta saanut siirrettyä ja kaksi muuta vain katosivat kätköistä. Onneksi viimeinen jäljellä oleva on niin ruma että tuskin kelpaa kenellekkään...

Ei muuta kuin käyt pistämässä nimen lokiin ja ja löytökommenttiin laitat sen mukana piilottamassa kommentin. Tämä tietysti vasta sitten kun joku muu on kätkön ensin (FTF) löytänyt.

Tänään tuli 1000 löytöä täyteen "Childish mystery" kätköllä.Aikaa ensimmäiseen tonniin meni "vain" vähän vajaa 6 vuotta.

600 tuli täyteen Kangasalan Saarikylissä.

Meidän 500:s löytömme oli Brankkorin "Daring Flyers" mysteeri.

Kävimme tänään vilkaisemassa noita mainittuja purkkeja, mutta White Tail purkissa ei Helunaa näkynyt ja Arinan purkkia emme löytäneet ollenkaan.Tosin regular White Tail purkkikin olisi ollut Helunalle erittäin ahdas joten small kokoiseen Arinaan se tuskin olisi mahtunut muuta kuin palasina. Näyttää pahasti siltä että Heluna on päätynyt vääriin (jästi) käsiin sieltä Väinö Linna kätköltä.

Eikös tehtäisi mieluummin niin että käskettäisiin noiden norjalaisten häipyä omille foorumeilleen itkemään jos ei tämä nykyinen käytäntö miellytä .Kaikki muut kuin norjalaiset tuntuvat kuitenkin olevan tyytyväisiä nykykäytäntöön. Suomen kielisten keskustelujen siirtäminen Suomen kielisille sivuille tuntuu muuten hyvältä idealta mutta näiltä sivuilta lähteminen juuri nyt tuntuisi siltä kuin antaisimme periksi norjalaisten vinkumiselle.

Löysimme "Idänpäänkallion" kolmannnella yrityksellä ja siitä tuli 400. löytömme.

Eikö tässä olisi voinut antaa enemmän löytäneille enemmän pisteitä jaettavaksi?Vaikka 10 peruspistettä kaikille ja sitten vielä muutama lisäpiste jokaista sataa löydettyä kohti. Tällä hetkellä olisi omalla listalla vielä tiukan karsinnankin jälkeen reilusti toistakymmentä ehdottomasti pisteitä ansaitsevaa kätköä.

Uusimmassa Retki lehdessä(3/2006) on Vuoden retkikohde jutun yhteydessä lyhyt maininta Birgitan polun geokätköistä.

Samanlaisia ongelmia on ollut myös meillä magellan SporTrak mapin kanssa. Pahimmillaan satelliittien löytymiseen on mennyt lähemmäksi 2 tuntia vaikka yleensä laite onkin toiminut hienosti. Mitään syytä tuohon en ole keksinyt mutta kyllä ne satelliitit ovat aina ennemmin tai myöhemmin löytyneet.
