You guys are just having too much fun down there can't wait till the 9th. How many Jeeps can I steal from CVC?
-
Bring more Jeeps home:laughing: great idea We plan on doing that if we can from our treip to Seattle too.
-
Ok, I have a question and thought I would ask our local experts before going to a different forum...
I was thinking of changing my screen name, but wondered if I lost all of my stats by doing so. When I first started, it was just myself doing it, and now it seems to be a family affair quite often.
Any thoughts or comments??
can do with no problem
ring me

I know Richard of Geocrickets will be celebrating his 40th birthday at the event. (Bill, any evil plans for this??)
Should be fun either way.
Let's see if anything comes to mind? Yep! Got something. Better cancel that goof match because there's going to be some kind of fun going on up North.
LOL! I will find out if I need to go to the "goof" match tomorrow...It looks as though I will be heading to the picnic though. Need any help with the plan??
Ring, Ring.
I will call tonight after work. Sounds evil...I like it!!
What evil things you guys up to now
Hope to see you tomorrow

Yeppers we will be there but you knew. Anyone else?

Breaking News on this Saturday...
I didn't know it but Gatherings require two weeks notice. Since this is an urgent issue (I know everyone wants to get their grubby little hands on a 2005 Jeep Travel Bug), I'm going to be there anyway. No gathering credits but we can still visit or you can do a hit and run or whatever.
The joy will be seeing each other, talking and logging this 2005 Jeep Travel Bug. After the event, I will be taking it to a secret location (and installing a Ford Suspension) and stashing it into a CVC cache. I won't be logging the drop until someone finds it so your best chance is to meet met for coffee this Saturday.

It time for another cup of coffee and a little chatting. Come and join us for a morning eye openner. If you're new to CVC (Central Valley Cachers), this is a must do. We'll be at this little coffee house from 8AM until at least 9:30AM.
It's been too long and now that I'm back from the desert, it's time to get together and tell some stories. This is a come as your are (unless your in a robe) and enjoy talking event. There will be no surprises (cough) like normal but I will have an official Jeep Travel Bug. Everyone that attends can log it as a find.
Hope to see you all there. (All New Cachers Welcome!)
I don't know if it's smart to go. I'm sure they'll take me and tape me up in the back begging for a clue on my cache...
Official? Yes, its always official when we can get together with GreenAchers. Officially a blast that is. Do we need a smilie, NO, Nope, Never, Nada. Just fun, but bet your boots I will get that White Jeep Icon Saturday. Granny and I will get up before the sun to have a cup of coffee and chat with Bill. Now if you believe that what can I sell you?
See you on Saturday.

Nobody has posted in a while, so I thought I'd post a note to let anyone who attended Workorwood's polyclay workshops that Michael's has a sale going on right now for Fimo at $0.97 instead of their norma $2.49 per 56g package. Sculpey Premo is on sale for $0.87 (I've seen many books reference Premo as being good to use for cane work).
You probably won't be able to find any white or black (um, we bought a lot of it), but there was still a good color selection at our local Michael's last night.

We also picked up a pasta machine at Michael's for $18.99 normally $24.99

I used to get all the notifications but now real spotty. Now I know that I must be in the same trouble maker group as GA

I mark my route for an arc in mapsource then export it as .mps file. In the filter I load mps file and set distance from the arc (route). hope this helps

CVC Question: How's planning (or at least thinking about planning) to do this years Navigational Rally? It was a total blast last year and I highly encourage everyone. [No want-2-bee Off-Road Vehicles. It's a ground clearance requirement for a couple locations in the race.]
Anyone intrested I have a Jeep for sale

I'm surprised non of the Stockton cachers have found this one yet. Even took us a while. Plan on being there a while and bring a group
That was a good one to do and a lot of great information. Just look at the age of the cache and the number of finds. One I recommend highly.

Here is another highly recomended cache. It's very cool to do. Z & I had fun doing this one & the stroll was great too as was the sunset. It was really logistically fun. The Knowledge Tree
I have been looking forward to going for that one but didn't know if this OLD hippy could push the walker down the levee.
Crippled up for a while need level 1's

Hey! This CVC counter is broken!!
Well, it's interesting to see who the chatterbox is.
Broken. It's broken, I tell ya.
Hi Jaimee.
Yeah it's broken alright... I think the numbers for you should be MUCH higher!
Compare these numbers to cache finds numbers. Tell you anything?

Got pigs?
How strange this is. We just found this same old game and decided to pass it along in a cache soon. We have had the game for over 20 years and it is in excelent condition so keep you eyes open in the next few months.

I wasn't wearing a kilt though...
WHY NOT?!?! you're always camo pants when I see you.
WE WANT TO SEE THOSE LEGS!
Old Hippy was wearing a camo kilt. I need to get one of those...
--Marky
I saw Old Hippy, and a few others, wearing their kilts at the Lights Fantastic event before Christmas. It was pretty cold that night. Not sure how they did it. Don't think that I would have worn one myself that night. It would get a little cool I imagine.
But Real Men wear Kilts even on cold days
We got ours at www.sportkilt.com

Just to stir things up some more I hear there may be some imposter Jeeps at the event Saturday now which are real and which are not
