  1. Email sent requesting a trade.
  2. I have to agree with pdxmarathonman. If I sell you my personal coins, then you can do whatever you want with them. However, if I trade with you, then I have given it to you specifically and nobody else. It's like if somebody gives you a birthday present. Do you turn around and sell it on eBay? No. Well, it's the same here. I'm gifting you my personal coin and I'm the only one who has paid for them. If it gets sold, then you have said in effect that you don't like my gift. And, if that's the case, then please return it to me so I can gift it to somebody else who will appreciate the time and effort that I placed in creating my coin.
  3. Well, if this is a go, then our group, COOL, would be interested in approximately 35 coins.
  4. No Caches can be adopted. I wonder if TB/Geocoins can be adopted. That way a non-travelled coin could have ownership transferred to make the new recipient the owner. I have no idea what the demand for this might be... Oh, I'm sure it CAN be done. I just don't think GS will DO it. I know that gc.com can transfer the ownership of a geocoin, because I did it. A friend of mine did a trade for a New Jersey coin and the person that sent it had already activated it. However, they notified gc.com and they transferred the ownership of the coin to them. When I heard that, I had 3 coins that I activated right after my wife had been checking things. So I was signed in as her. So I emailed gc.com with the information from the coins and they transferred the ownership of the coins from my wife to me. Works great. And they did it real fast, too.
  5. Yep, the photos on eBay are correct.
  6. How can you tell? Are the numbers really red, or just kinda reddish? And what number is yours?
  7. Besides, some of those rare Michigan coins are actually last year's coins that aren't trackable on gc.com.
  8. I ordered 31 coins for our group, COOL.
  9. Connection from work. I'm not sure, T1 or T3, but definitely NOT dial-up!
  10. I don't think so, because they aren't collected like coins are right now (i.e. crazily ).
  11. I know I've hit the report button instead of the quote button. Either one takes you to a screen where you can type your message. And if you don't look closely and just type in your message and then hit the submit button, you don't realise your mistake until after you've sent the report in.
  12. Yep, it makes sense. GSAK will update any caches that you import from your PQs and add any caches that are new. Garmin, I'm not sure about because I always delete all of the waypoints and then download new ones. CacheMate will do the same as GSAK, i.e. update current waypoints and add new waypoints. The only problem with all of this is that archived caches are NOT sent from gc.com via PQs. So here's what I do: Import my PQs. Apply a filter that displays all caches whose last GPX date is greater than 7 days (I do this procedure once a week). Manually check all caches. This is a pain but Clyde can't automate this because of the TOU. If the cache is NOT archived, download the gpx file into a folder called OTHER. If the cache is archived, download the gpx file into a folder called ARCHIVED and check the User box. Run a macro to load the OTHER folder and delete the files in the folder; move archived caches (those with the User box checked) to a database called Archived; and load the ARCHIVED folder. Move all of the gpx files in the ARCHIVED folder into ARCHIVED.ZIP file.
  13. It's called "warm fuzzy". People want to see something from the GA people definitely stating that they have a coin, because computers have been known to mess up orders. Just look at what happened yesterday with PayPal!
  14. Yes (write down the number) and no (don't log it).
  15. What list is this???? Confirmed Order List
