  1. I received 1 pocket query out of 5 and my wife also only received 1 pocket query out of 5. I've tried to set up another email account and I haven't received the validation email, even though I've requested it several times.

  2. Add me to the list of users who can't get their "My Finds" query. Last generated date is 10/27/2009 and the button ISN'T greyed out. But nothing when I click on it, except, as already stated, the page refreshes. I tried yesterday and today. No luck. :)

  3. Go to any State search page such as "by State (US only):" http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?state_id=44, click to the last of the many pages listed with the >> button. There you will see the 'oldest' caches, well what should be the oldest caches. And some that are accidently old as in the Mac issue, and some that are intentionally old but faked intentionally.

GC62 is obvioulsy a old cache, while GCRV4R is kind of old but not that old really.

I think that the cache placement date should not be changable by the owner. It should be settable by the owner, and have legal limits of today...to...perhaps next week, no past dates. Owners should not be able to change it after it's been published. Reviewers should FORCE it to the date that they approve it.

I could see going back maybe a week. Say you were on a camping trip and placed a geocache while up in the mountains. It might take you a week to get back and fill out the cache page. But I think the best thing is to not allow the submitter to change the submit date and have it pick up the current date.

  4. Hasn't that little glitch been 'fixed' along with a lot of other things recently?

If not then changing the date of a hide should require reviewer approval just as changing the coordinates by more than 528 feet does, and just as changing the type of cache does...

It's possible, because this was hidden almost 3 years ago.

  5. How can a cache be hidden in 1901? There's this cache a few miles from my home:

GCRQN7 - Cache Just Off the Path

It shows that it was hidden on 12/13/1901. How is that possible? I thought the first cache hidden was on May 3, 2000. Needless to say, I can't include this cache in any of my PQs, since the earliest date allowed on them is 1/1/1998. Can this be fixed? It shows that it was published on 12/26/2005, so the hidden date should probably be 12/13/2005.

  6. I have mentioned a couple of times that the my finds PQ is being counted towards the total allowed. Now had it a few times when going away and unable to run one (got 4 out of the 5 I wanted) because the my finds was run in the last 24 hours.

I had noticed that previously and just make sure that I only run My Finds after I've already run 5 or late in the day so I don't have to worry about running out of PQs.

  7. I've currently got 39 pocket queries defined, including 5 that have already run (crossed off). When I attempt to add another pocket query, I get the following error message:

Sorry. You have reached 40 total queries. You will need to delete a query in order to create a new one.

When I scroll to the bottom of the page, it lists 39 total queries.

  8. It appears as if the Geocoin Store is having problems with there site. The Utah Coins are scheduled to go on sale in 1.5 hours. Does anyone have a way to get a hold of Rusty, Mike or Ben other than by email??? I will send an email but I am afraid it will not get resolved in time.

    It didn't get resolved.

Does that mean that the Utah geocoin is so popular that everybody is jumping on the site early and overloading the server?!?! I've got to admit that it is an awesome looking geocoin.

  10. The HORN CREW found a geo-coin and now we dont now what to do. send something so that I know what to do with it.

Can you give us a little more info? Which geocoin? Was there anything attached to it? Did the cache page have anything about there being a geocoin there?

  11. If I go forward, I will most likely do "trades only" due to the price of tracking nos and because I don't think "trackable at..." would fit nicely on the coin. I have thought about doing them in black nickel only - I wasn't as happy with the look of the gold version.

Even if you don't make them trackable, you still should be able to sell a bunch of these. I know that our COOL group would be interested in purchasing approximately 15 of these great looking coins. If you do decide to sell them, I can get you an exact number then.

  12. I realize there are a lot of Maine coins out there and we produced a lot of them so we could give everyone a good price on them. I have gotten I think 6 responses from others for trading their state coin for the Maine coin. I still have a few of the Maine coins left so would you be interested in trading for your state coin? Thanks Haffy6

    Trades should be posted here.
