  1. It's been done a couple of times... ClayJar's "Scuba" Cache List
  2. We've hidden one: Revenge of the Easter Bunny There are six eggs hidden with a part of the coordinates to the final ammo can in each one. Some are easy and hanging from trees and others are not easy. They are all camo covered plasitc eggs. We don't give them the coords for each egg, but we tell them the limited area to search. We hear it's quite a fun challenge.

  4. Already being discussed in a zillion other places but here is the main one
  5. I also got that survey and filled it out. Since they used all the right terms about geocaching I figured it was legit.
  6. The difference is that technically your personal TB/Coin is supposed to go to each cache with you, but a virtual TB/Coin never actually sees any caches. This site is about physical caches and physically placing things in caches. Virtuals are for the Waymarking.com site.
  7. So, for example, if north is "12 o'clock", then "a quarter til 9" would be 290 degrees on your compass... Uh, that would be 270 degrees. Not! I'm talking about the hour not the minute hand. If you are using the hour hand it moves to 3/4th the distance between 9 and 10. Refigure. Then wouldn't that be quarter till 10??
  8. create your pocket queries The link is on your "My Account" page.
  9. Interesting. So if I leave a troll doll in a cache, it's not mine, but if I attach a piece of aluminum to it, I retain ownership? I thought the piece of Aluminum was to track where it went, not an 'ownership' tag. Yes the "piece of Aluminum" is an ownership tag. Here is a screenshot of a TB I own but released to travel.
  10. I could have done that if I wanted it to be easy. My favorite tool.
  11. h ddd mm.mmm is correct. We tried finding our first cache using hd mm ss.s and were way off!
  12. Serenity now..... Insanity later!
  13. On your "My Account" page, on the right, under "Premium Features". That seems to be the perfect place to me!
  14. You should also log a find for the cache you found. The needs maintenance log doesn't show up as a find for you!
  15. First you should take the TB number out of your post. That's reserved for those who actually have the TB in their possession. 1-Post a note on the cache you found it in. At the bottom of the log screen there should be a list of the TBs you have. Select that bug and it will show up in the cache. Then you can grab it from the cache on the TB page like you did the first time. When you go to drop it in another cache you do the same and drop it using the list that appears when you log the find. 2-You did fine. Most bug owners would get nervous if you held it for so long without permission.
  16. This is the infamous and now archived Tube Torcher
  17. It shows on one of our active traditional caches that was hidden 8/7/2003. However it does not show for our webcam cache. In fact the attributes are very different for the webcam. What type of cache is it missing on for you?
  18. You can also add a reply to the topic or reply to a particular post. Looking at it in outline mode helps to see who is replying to who. Neat!
  19. Huh? I believe that Missouri forum link is in his signature line. He was referring to the Groudspeak search working again, which it is for me.
  20. The OP only has one cache hide with no finders yet. They'll realize soon enough that there is no need for an RSS feed or bookmark notifications to monitor your own cache.
