One suggestion was AFtrack. I've used that a lot for other purposes (tracking and lightweight navigation), and also tested it a bit for geocaching. It does work, in the sense that you can have geocaches displayed as POIs, but it's not as easy and streamlined as GC Live was. And as far as I can tell, there's no way to get the cache descriptions and such. Some have mentioned SmartGPX. This does look pretty neat, though I haven't tested it extensively yet. SmartGPX does not seem to provide any map display, but supposedly can integrate with AFTrack by using an addon. If so, using AFTrack and SmartGPX together might be a pretty complete solution.
