  1. Maybe this would be a good opertunity to pratice CITO at these locations, or avoid those types of urban caches that would be in those types of areas.

I also want to remind posters of the forum guidelines

    http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules

    3. Foul language and obscene images will not be tolerated. This site is family-friendly. All forum posts must conform to a family-friendly standard and contributors must act accordingly. It is not appropriate to replace characters in a profane word to elude the built-in censoring filter, or forum moderation.

Changing the letters of a word to mask or get around the filters is not appropriate, please refrain from doing so. Thank you.

  2. I've already asked once, Keith Watson and nothernpenguin, do not post further to this thread, effectively, I am booting both of you out, further posting will result in a forum suspention. Do not email me or PM me regarding this as it is not open for further discussion. Thank you, there is also not to be further discussion in this regard as these two posters cannot respond. This thread is to return to the intended topic of the cache and not a challenge/ALR debate.

  3. I think it is time to bring this thread back into line of discussion of this challenge and within the forum posting guidelines. Further discussion on Challenge caches in general should be taken offline or in the challenge cache thread. Further, unproductive postings will result in the closure of the thread. Thank you.

  4. Not sure how it is a flipflop on the charging to geocache, Premium Membership caches was a geocaching community request, not a money grab by Groundspeak. The core of geocaching is still free, as it was in the beginning, with a basic membership, you can list your cache or find and log caches without having to pay the site. I also don't see a need to mention or advertise a business or other entity on a cache page, I myself have been to lax on this part.

As for this thread, I have to put a reminder to all to adhere to the forum guidelines, no further name calling or personal attacks will be tolerated, this include those that are not participating. They have their right to report problem caches directly to a reviewer and are not to be referred to as idiot or other names. Keep things civil and this thread will remain open.

  5. WiZ...stop it...you not listening to me...I will adopt all...that is not against the quidelines of yours.

I think it might be best to do this by email instead of a one sided forum thread. Also, it is not up to geocaching.com or the volunteer reviewer concerning the adoption of caches, that would be up to the cache owner. Since the caches here have been archived, it might be best to submit new listings after the cache has been checked up on and refreshed.

K whatever must be done but I want to make sure |I can adopt...is that still possible?

Wait a minute...just reread what you said and ur saying not possible?

Speak english and i am sure the Team will let me be

Generally, caches are not unarchived to be adopted, the Team chose to archive their caches for a historical archive of the caches they placed. Geocaching.com does not adopt over caches without cache owner (the Team) permission. The Team would have to go to www.geocaching.com/adopt but this would have been before they archived their caches.

  7. Hello,

I am sorry, but running a pool is not permitted in the forums since it a form of gambling. Contests where a geocoin is given away are ok, but not when there is a buy in or entry fee involved, I have to close this thread and ask that you do not open another pool. Thank you.

  8. The best you can do is send a polite email asking for the holder to get your TB out again and hope for the best. You can also try to contact a local event organizer if the TB holder appears to attend events from their stats. Once you send a traveler out there, you can just sit back and watch it travel.

As for a couple of the responders, please remember our forum guidelines when posting, some cachers are new, English might not be their mother language and posting might not be as easy for some as it is for others. It is good to provide help, but do so in a respectful manner.

Here are some things to keep in mind when posting:

    1. Forum courtesy: Please treat Groundspeak, its employees, volunteers, [bfellow community members[\b], and guests on these boards with courtesy and respect. Whether a community member has one post or 5,000 posts, they should be treated fairly.

    Thank you.

  9. I am going to have to follow up the post by CacheDrone with one of my own (as a forum moderator). This thread will not be closed, but if some don't follow the forums guidelines, they will be told to stop posting to this thread or they will take a forum vacation. Thank you.

  10. I don't know of any property that is not owned or managed by someone.

But there is public property and private property. I will let you figure out the definition of each and as to whether or not specific permission is required.

Do I really need to step in here, take the public/private property debate private, thank you.
