  2. From the News Station...

    Hello!

As you all probably know the Magellan “Be There” geocaching contest got underway this past Monday.

KSWB in San Diego is planning to tape a segment this Thursday about geocaching and the upcoming Magellan contest. They would love to interview some local geocachers about the various steps involved in finding a cache.

If you are interested in participating, please contact me by phone or e-mail ASAP! You will need to be available between 9 a.m. And 2 p.m. on Thursday. The station is located in the Kearney Mesa/Clairemont area @ 7191 Engineer Road and the interview would take place at a park or other location in that area.

This is a great opportunity to promote geocaching.

I look forward to hearing from you!

  6. Slick huh? That improved selection tool showed up in Paint Shop Pro 9.0.

on sale this week i think at Fry's

How much does Fry's want for it? It's only 59 smackers if you have an older copy of PSP (which I do).

    try this link...

    Outpost.com Paint Shop Pro 9.0 = $9.99 after rebates

$50 rebate seems to be expired...looks like false advertizing or someone screwed up and attatched the wrong rebate.

  7. Steve, I think you are forgetting that it's typically 110 degrees up there in June! ;)

Edit: If you do go, you should hit the top of San Jacinto for your 100th! It is nice and cool up there!

whats a little sweat here and there....thinking of night caching and sleeping in the air conditioned room during the day.

  8. Hi Harmon, I thought it would be a great idea to post your lessons here! That way others can try them too! They are actually a lot of fun!

I agree. will be posting my work on poor devhead and the stapler.

Harmon, even for someone who knows a little about photoshop, lesson one was helpful. here's what was learned at my end:

    • how to make it look like the person was holding the object i imported.
    • using the scale command (where to find it)
    • merging layers to form the final product
