  1. Does a charter member patch exist? Would like to get one.
  2. Wow...are there really only 400-500 charter members?
  3. I know people might say I'm dumb for bringing this up........but was just wondering. As soon as charter memberships were available I signed up for an annual subscription. Then I received a renewal notice today and promptly renewed for another year. When you view my profile page it used to say "Charter Member" and now it says "Premium Member." Is this a subscription renewal flaw or are there no longer charter members and everyone is called premium? Thanks!
  4. Ok..Im gonna cut off the gift giving now.....but feel free to post well wishes on this thread!!! We have just over $200 plus a few more expected by snail mail. Will keep you informed on which unit we buy and when we give it. Thanks again! Keith

  7. Will decide on a unit once I see how much money we get together. I will add all people who contribute to an email address book so I can email you with updates on what we get etc.... Thanks again!
  8. Hey guys....I think the easiest way for me to do this is paypal. I set up a special email for this. You can send to gpsweddinggift@hotmail.com. Please be sure to include your name and email in the additional comments when you send your gift money so I can include it on a card! Of course if you dont have paypal, please email me and I will give you my snail mail address. Thanks to those who have already contacted me. I will email those who contacted me with this information as well. So far we dont have quite enough for a yellow etrex...but hopefully we will have enough soon. Thanks everyone!!! Keith
  9. Being the owner of the cache, I think that's a great idea and will contribute as well. Does anyone have any ideas how I should coordinate it? (Like a paypal acct or an address where people can send their wedding gift money to?) Maybe I can meet up with them when I go out to replace the cache and give the gift at that time. Great idea folks!!! Keith
  10. there is a multi stage cache here in kansas city in a dog park. first part is a rock that looks like the picture you posted and inside of it are coords to the second site where a larger container with items for trade can be found. was hard to spot but was cool once found.
  11. hide em better....maybe....it was hidden july 2001....over a year and a half aint bad! plus winter sucks....no thorny brambles to keep the youngsters away.
  12. Hi Lysa contacted me and I will get the cache replaced soon. Apparently a group of six 12 year old boys were out and found it and divided the contents. Her son got the geocache log book which she found in her room. Very nice of her to come online and let me know.
