Had mine for about 2 months. Loses lock in cover (but what doesn't) . My question is, why isn't there a GPSr with a topo map built in instead of a street map? You'd think the eTrex Camo would have that, but no.

I was looking for a benchmark (CS1249) and could not find it. Instead, I found a City of Irving survey mark much like the York County mark found in a previous topic. I looked through that topic, and could not gleen from it if this is considered a found benchmark or not. The bridge the benchmark is supposed to be on was replaced, so is the NGS mark dead, or did the city mark take its place, or what? Excuse the ignorance, I'm a newby to 'caching, and I much prefer Benchmark hunting (none of that take/leave/log/hide stuff to deal with). I want to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks
