  1. Penny and Kona kindly donated a coin to me, and it got picked up quit quick, unfortunatly it never moved again, and it is still in the hands of the first geocacher that found it. Its been over a year now, today I decided to contact him/her about it, lets hope my coin gets moving again.
  2. Being a Dan Brown fan I was intrigued to see the two faces of this coin. The 13 stars, the two part pyramid, even Robert Langdon would want to have a close look at this coin ! Do you need to be a mason or illuminati to own a coin like this, or could one find its way to The Netherlands ? (I am on the google list)
  3. Today was a great day, I got a family extension, its a.....ehm, its a, wel ehm, its a troll And I am very happy with the little fella ! Thank you Penny and Kona for this cute geocoin ! I hope it finds its way to The Netherlands ! Great initiative and for sure I will pay it forward.
  4. I have done a few caches now, 8, and have recently send my own GC traveling. Now I feel confident enough to adopt if there is still one available
  5. Got the invite, added my address. Its in The Netherlands, I am Dutch, but not in the cheap way Any Geocoins send to me will not be collected but released into caches, unless the sender specifies otherwise.

  7. Following the sugestion to look at post #183 , I have sent a PM to mousekakat. Now I see the topic is over 500 posts and people ask here for invitations. Is the PM to mousekakat still valid or should I ask for an invitation here ? Regards, Dopehead.NL
  8. Hold on, all is not lost, today my coin got logged, over two weeks after being grabbed from the cache. I hope yours surfaces soon to.
  9. You are worried, and for good reason, here's my story. When a friend of me introduced me to Geocaching he gave me a coin for a present, to get me motivated. At first it did not work, the coin was in a drawer for almost 2 years. Then in May 2010 I decided to let the coin go, I looked for a nice cache and found : Tintagel Castle Yes. the one that is said to behave been used by king Arthur himself. (its not true by the way) I traveled over 700 Kilometers (on Holiday ) and dropped my beautiful Dutch Geocoin 2007 in the cache. Logged it directly and a couple of days later, someone logged that the gecoin was nowhere to be found I am very disappointed, Tintagel Castle was only my second cache found, I dropped my first ever geocoin and now it seems to be taken never to appear again My friend is dissapointed to, he had hoped for a better start for me. However, I will assume this to be bad luck and will have another go in the future...... Lost coin : Dutch Geocoin 2007
