I go to school in the St. Louis area, but I don't think anything can compare to the diversity and sheer number of caches in my home of the DC area (no offense). I'm always on the lookout for good caches in St. Louis, though; do you have any suggestions? ~jmarkowi

Hi everyone, What's the status of options for new geocaches in Fairfax County? Last I heard was a year ago when there was a temporary ban on new caches on FCPA land. Is that still in effect? Was some sort of agreement reached or system designed to allow for new caches? Thanks, ~jmarkowi

My VistaHCx came with MapSource and I recently loaded Topo 2008 onto it. Can't I use that to transfer caches, waypoints, etc. to and from my GPSr (as long as I have a microSD card)? If yes, do I just download the .loc file to that program or open it with the program? If no, why not?

Just to throw another question into the mix... I have a VistaHCx that I've been using for geocaching and it's fantastic. I do, however, want to get maps for it (I'm thinking road maps would be the most useful for my purposes). Any suggestions on which garmin maps I should use? I think MetroGuide doesn't have autorouting on gpsr, which for me throws that out, but are there really any differences between the remaining options? ~jmarkowi
