I mostly like the new map: search what you wanted to begin with (mostly), then can scroll or manipulate filters and create 'trip list' without exiting back to 'lists' view, easier to plan a trek. For example, headed to mountains and I want capture earthcaches in the area, then unfilter letterboxes and maybe virtuals and wherigos as well to add those relatively rare types if nearby, then unfilter all and sort by favorites to be sure to get anything special (although would prefer % favored as option), then maybe any particular D/T types I want. All this can now be done in a couple minutes without jumping around, so kudos. My biggest issue is that it immediately jumps to the map from the search page, hoping that will change once testing complete. Often I want to see that list, and especially the useful data. The new map can sort by date placed, but I do not see that date. Finding all he caches hidden by GCer now harder. And other sorts completely gone: last found, alphabetical, and I do not remember what else since I have the beta. And worst of all, completely lost the ability to list and sort, as well as map, ONLY the caches I found.

I have an iPhone SE, compass problems appeared about a year ago and after throwing everything at it, eventually went away. This time the symptom is more annoying and persistent. When I go into compass mode, North is always pointed at the top of the phone, and the orange arrow appears at the correct relationship to North (but not toward the cache unless I actually am facing North). Those positions are locked, rotating the phone does nothing, although the distance to cache will change. I have tried rebooting the phone, reinstalling the app, Location cycled OFF/ON, compass calibration cycled OFF/ON, cycling to and from Never Use, waving phone in a Mobius Twist. The Apple Compass that came with the phone does the same, even after going through the same troubleshooting. I downloaded Commander Compass, and it also shows North at the top of the phone when I open it. Oddly enough, however, it then acts 'compass-like', spinning to keep North in that direction, wrong though it may be. And no, I do not have in a metal case, the phone acts the same with no case.

This is the only thread I could find that addresses my issue. I am (or was) trying to purchase a couple gift subscriptions. Like the original poster, I found that the giftee had to already have an account, which seems a foolish restriction. Again like the OP, the link to create a gift account took me to MY account. So I did log out, and successfully created a new user. Whereupon I received an error message about cookies, something about multiple accounts from same computer, which is what the store forced me to do! Now I cannot log into new account, but website recognizes the new username. So figure the odds on me purchasing a subscription for this mystery account, or any other for that matter.
