  1. the getting started page - glossary
  2. new travel bugs to send out would do the trick for me
  3. The cache owner did a nice job on this count, noting for the reviewer that the maps show the area as a golf course, but then explaining that it's been converted into a brand new park. I wouldn't publish a cache in the middle of the 8th fairway, but a new park ROCKS. but what about one at the 19th hole ??
  4. the main problem i have is if we have 20 people out looking in the park after hours and the rangers or whoever notices, then you run the risk of pissing someone off and not being aloud to place caches in park systems again. if i see a cache and it has time restrictions, i abide by them rules but that's just me. it's just with the way some people play the game that could ruin it for alot of other people. as for deleting the ftf ?? that's the owners call. i might just to make a stand
  5. You can do that because you are a Premium Member. ncsuclell is NOT a Premium Member and does not have access to Pocket Queries. But OwlCacher is, and the one that stated that there was NOT a specific function for that, when in fact there is
  6. found a cache a while back that was a 5 gallon bucket
  7. you can run a pocket query to include caches that have TB's
  8. there is already one list in Caches Along a Route, go to Cache Along a Route, type in richmond, indiana and click public route and scroll down and click on that one and that will let you set it up in a pocket query
  9. being relativly new myself, the first few times out i chose ones to look for that had been found in the past week figuring it's probably still there and hasn't come up missing......... yet lol
  10. got to ground zero 10 minutes after publication, looked for 10 minutes then joined by another cacher, searched together for about 15 minutes, then another cacher showed up, then we see the guys walking across the parking lot to PLACE the cache, very funny day indeed
  11. when you edit your profile, you can check a box to receive emails in html
  12. Everything else is just gravy with an occasional biscuit thrown in for good measure if you have a specific queston on that model, it's the one i have, send me a message and be more than glad to help in any way i can
  13. i started keeping a journal of all my finds with date, name, location, where the cache was hidden, travel bug and coin info, GC numbers, kinda like a diary of sorts, even though i'm still new, just caching a few monthes, it's been really nice to go back and reference it
  14. if you are refering to the etex legend (blue) yes you can type coordinates in, really don't know of any gps that you can't
  15. i know when i looked around to buy the vista hcx, i checked prices at different places and checked at Dicks Sporting Goods but all they carried was a bundle with the maps and everything, so i'm guessing thats what this is
  16. simular to a tupperware container but it has 4 locking tabs on it to keep it closed
  17. i guess i just don't understand, there's no way i'm going to do 500 caches in a day or a week so why do i need a PQ for 1000 a day ???????? i update my gps and pda once a week to get the new caches and the new log info. yes, i'm new to this with just 135 finds but, am i missing something ???
  18. as stated in post 3 yes that worked and is what i was looking for and will do just fine
