same problem here too....was working ok for the last half hour that i've been searching for the "find another geocacher" option...Really hating this layout

no this gave you the option to pick your state then you could designate what colors to make each individual county

Does anybody know the website that allows you to highlight the counties that you have found a cache in then download the finished map? I had the link and when my pc crashed i lost the link and cannot remember it...Thanks

i tried the spanner and nothing..This is a brand new Gps and i have a 4 gig sd card in it..

For some reason when i try to send individual caches or run the webupdater for my 450 it doesn't find my gps.I have checked my system setup on my 450 and it is set to garmin serial..Any ideas?

i think i might have just figured it out...i was hoping i could save one topo of illinois to my desktop and combine the state of indiana topo to it as well then send that one combined file to my 450

I have downloaded caches for 2 side by side states and when i try to add custom maps for one state it overwrites the other..I have also tried to save those maps on the memory card and they show up on the copmputer but not on my 450...any ideas?

well i been reading your thread here and i tried it vie gmail and for some reason it says invalid forwarding address..Verizon is my wireless carrier also..Any ideas?

just updated to software version 4.2 and now when i add a new query the caches dont show up on my oregon..any ideas?

couple of things...i had the new icon for attending a flash mob yesterday..its gone now..Also i cannot run quieries..they all show zero caches when i run them

just curious if there is some changes going on today?Having a hard time opening up pages and navigating throught out gc.com

how can i go back to 3.80 software from 3.90 ? gps was fine until i did the webupdater to vertsion 3.90

Had the same thing happen with prior upgrades. You'll need to send your *.gpx file again. Hope you're using a PQ and not doing them individually! yeah i am using PQ's..and i have trried connecting and clearing out the gps folder and re-installing the caches...same problem caches show up everywhere BUT on the gps..

Just did a update via the webupdater from 3.80 to 3.90...now for some reason my caches do not show up on my oregon BUT they show up when i open up the basecamp program and my gpx folder...anyone else have same problems? how did you fix this problem?

I have orange backgrounds...black and red and i have no problems seeing anything on my 450...i think the display is great even with the shading..

Does anyone have any cool background pictures that you use on your oregon? Do you know where a person can find some cool background pictures?

these are a must in my cachin truck..very very handy

i generally use WAAS if i am going into a heavy canopy..In uraban settings i use the normal setting unless the cache is between tall buildings where satellite reception might be affected

There was a few folks that was at Moonshine that we didn't even get a chance to say hi to but we did meet a few cachers we had never met before (Need to start writing their names down,,lol). Saw your name on the attended log's & a few others that we sure like to have meet too. We kind of got lost heading there. Wasn't the Nuvi's fault, It was mine (Mr RKCF),,lol This was our 2nd time to moonshine & the road numbers was going up in number not down. It's long story,,lol Anyway's, Hope you get to come down for the Event. It's our first time giving one. So we are kind of excited. Got some Great give away's headed our way. We got more caches to hide down in Union county too, But we really getting into hiding caches now to bring ya to some type of History or to WOW cachers. i had the honor of meeting the reedkycache finders at the end of moonshine..I have never had the honor to cache in kentucky yet BUT i see the invitation is there..We might look hard at this event..

well i update my 450 to 3.80 last night no problems at all..Today out in the field no problems UNTIL i began doing a Wherigo..When i got to the second stage of it my 450 shut off..Sooooooo back to the begining i went...well as i got to the 3rd stage my screen locked up..I don't know if this is due to the update or if the cartridge was faulty? Any ideas???

i just got my 450 the other day and ran the updater this evening...no problems all is working well with the unit and my pc recognized it after the software updates...
