  1. Why some MAXPEDITION gear to carry it in. The thread begged for it. I swear! Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  2. I'm really laughing at myself right now. That was a bonehead thing I did! Oh my Gawd!!!! ROFLMAO I hope you all get a good chuckle like I am. LOL Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  3. Welp, I just paid a stupid tax. When I was trying to figure out the payment system on bidpay I clicked the $6 for the delivery of the M.O. (duh!!) Man, I'm pissed. I'm not going to pay $6 again, I told them to keep their item and cancel the order. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay that much. Bassards!! I think it is aweful interesting that the amount for shipping is the same as the amount to have the M.O. delivered. I'm mad at myself and mad that they have to make it a friggin production to pay for the auction. Rant mode off. Hope the wife don't find out about this. LOL Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  4. Oh believe me I agree with ya. I got hosed on a $1 item. I was going to pay $7.50 shipping until I contacted the seller and discussed it with him. Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  5. Well, not to get into it, but I was aware of the shipping cost. It was listed below. Just letting you all know about this. Do what you will with it. Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  6. Never mind. LOL [This message was edited by TNRonin on August 12, 2003 at 03:54 PM.]
  7. Agreatscot, I am happy you like it on two fronts. 1.) I take pride in my service because I know what it is like to get crappy service and don't want to do that to others. 2.) This is some good gear! I have more coming in, specifically an M4 on route as well. I didn't get one of these on the first order. I should be able to review it shortly. I'm curious as to how big it really is and how well it will work on a belt, or pack (I have a condor coming in). Thanks again! Mitch Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  8. It will be a very very cold day in you know where before you all get one of my pics to do that do. OH MY GAWD!!! Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  9. What do you all think of ucgeocacheclub.org ? I sort of like that one because it tells enough for us locals to remember it. I tried ucgc.org but it was taken. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  10. Runner, check out www.godaddy.com. To register a domain for a year is $8.95 IIRC. I have an account there if you don't want to hassle with it. Lemme know. Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  11. Now that I can sit down and work on this question... quote:Originally posted by AGREATSCOT:I need 2 things: 1. Startac phone, what do you recommend. I would say the cp-m. quote:2. A second one for a small (not sure yet which one) GPS and my Handspring GPS. Are you wanting to carry both at the same time in one container? If that is what you want, the M-1 would be a good one. Individually, a small GPS gecko could easily fit in a cp-m, or a cp-s. A sportrak or meridian size will have to go in a cp-l. I have the sportrak and it just won't go in a cp-m. And I know the Meridian is larger. With regards to the handspring by itself, there are no pouches it would work with. I don't think the cp-l will get large enough. I don't have one in my hands either the handspring or the cp-l, but the width of the handspring is the issue IMHO. I will get the item totals emailed to you shortly. I still need the shipping data so I can accurately calc the total on the order. Thanks. Mitch Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  12. Sorry bout not having all the stuff on the site, I'm in the process of getting everything listed. I can get you everything they sell. Doing the coding on these pages gets pretty tedious and I need the quiet time to do them. I'm starting teaching right now, and things are slightly hectic. Yes, you can have the 25% off if you do an eval on each of the items individually. (You didn't think I would let you off that easily did ya. ). I have your contact information I believe. Shoot me an email with your shipping data so I can get you a total. TIA Upper Cumberland Chapter Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  13. OK, I got to playing with this. I'm referring to the lawyer screen, Cracker, everyone else is refering to the map splash. I attempted the mymeridian, and I had to change the name of the firmware file. I'm really not comfortable uploading this w/o someone actually saying I can do this to the firmware with THIS software. OH well. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  14. I have a bud that is a LEO up in monterey. I'll check with him. I think there is no reason why we cannot do this in monterey. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  15. very kewl! Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  16. whoops, sorry I missed that. Now to figger it out. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  17. Frankly, my desire is to make this the Upper Cumberland Geocaching Club, not the Cookeville Geocaching Club. What do you all think about meeting at Cumberland Mtn State Park in Crossville? I'll be up there all next week so I can get things lined out for the Virtual Cache event. If the major concensus of the group is Ckvl, that is fine also. I know that there are some people to the east of Crossville and I would like to do our level best to include them. Opinions? Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  18. Bilder, thanks for the evaluation! When you took the spill did you fall onto the M-1 or just roll around? I'm kinda curious about protection from impacts for the gear? I know there is no foam padding, but that material is pretty thick. Thanks again. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  19. This is a good thread, one that should be read by someone just starting out. We have many here with the hearts of teachers. That is so kewl. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  20. Well, I came down with Lyme's Disease. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  21. As on the other thread regarding the mapsource and easygps, can this be done with mapsend? As of now I have to upload to the gps, then download to the mapsend software. I would like to be able to get rid of the up and down traffic. I would like to do POI that I can read directly to easygps from mapsend. TIA. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  22. Can this be done on the sportrak Map? I'm jazzed to do this, but don't want to ruin my new GPS. TIA. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  23. Ya these are all over the ebay. The only prob is the potential of getting it confiscated by customs on the way in. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  24. My problem has always been with fitting my body. I have a large chest and shoulders and can never get them large enough. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
  25. quote:Originally posted by yumitori:It wouldn't be watertight. That's usually a problem, but depending on your application it might work... Ron/yumitori Just a quick thought. When it overlaps wouldn't it be somewhat more w/t than the altoids or CD tin? I'm talking about the two piece overlapping style, not the hinged version. Just a thought. Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread. Maxpedition Hard Use Nylon Gear
