Looks like CityNavigator version 2011.40 has been released. Downloading it now.

Reverted back to 3.52, waypoints were there. Upgraded to 3.61 again and this time waypoints and tracks were all available.

FYI.... After doing the update, my waypoints are missing. Both in "Where to?" and Waypoint Manager. They still seem to be in the .gpx folder, but I can't access them in the Oregon 550. It also appears my saved tracks are not accessible.

The new BaseCamp is working well and the imagery I am downloading is great too for the US. You can download anything you want in BaseCamp. It will send a small 'demo' file of Birdseye imagery to your Oregon. Can't figure out why Garmin isn't selling subscriptions yet-- I am ready to buy!!! Garmin, please add an "add to cart" icon on the Birdseye page so we can subscribe.... Please!!!

That is the official Garmin product, I have it in my Oregon 550 and it has good coverage for Lake Powell as far as water depths. Should work for your 76CSx just fine, if you buy the card you should be able to transfer it between other Garmin compatible units.

That's not what Garmin has been saying. Can you verify by loading to a second unit? My understanding is that the 24K maps include City Navigator data. Yes, have successfully loaded it onto my 60CSx too. Southwest DVD does have CN 2009 mixed in, the same as the microSD cards, but is limited to the four state region of the DVD. I like to have the entire USA of City Nav loaded on the Oregon, so I have the space to do that now. DVD package says it contains Navteq. No unlock coupon or anything like that was included either. I was surprised too.

Oh, now that is interesting. Did you install the DVD and it just showed up im MapSource? Or did you have to do something to get it into Mapsource? It is nice to know it does not need an unlock code. Jim I already had MapSource installed. The DVD installs BaseCamp and a newer type version of MapInstall. I didn't have to do anything to get it to show up in MapSource, just selected the product in the MapSource pull down menu. I am actually quite happy with it, it is so nice to have these maps available to review on the computer for waypoints and tracks.

I just got mine from megagps.com. Same maps as the microSD version, but have them on the computer. Can view them in both MapSource and BaseCamp, although BaseCamp has some technical issues-- as has been discussed in other posts. Software does not require an unlock code, so if you have a second GPS or get another GPS in the future you can also load the maps on those units. Was able to load the maps onto my Oregon 400t with no problems-although not all four states. Requires 3.2 GB for all four states on the DVD, so I selected which map sections I wanted. I previously had the two state 24k micro SD card, but much prefer having the ability to fill my 2GB card with CityNavigator maps and these 24k maps.

I had some trouble with the old US Roads and Rec. Specifically the Hawaii and Alaska discs. Are you using this software?

I have discovered that if you have the original MapSource product of Roads and Recreation loaded on your computer, 2009.1 will not load onto your computer. I removed R&R, loaded 2009.1 successfully and then re-loaded R&R. So far they seem to be co-existing just fine. I had similar problems with R&R with MapSource 6.14 not working right. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.

How are you getting version 2009.1 to show up in MapSource? I cannot figure this out and can't get any details from either the tech I talked to today or from Garmin's instructions. I have already loaded this onto a nuvi 200, but 2009.1 never showed up in MapSource. Thanks

A couple of bugs I have encountered. First, after finishing the software update, the Oregon told me I had too many gpx files... message was "maximum number of gpx files exceeded.' I don't really have that many gps files actually, about 200 waypoints all in the same file and about 200 geocaches, each a separate gpx file. However, after restarting the Oregon, I have had no other problems and the message has not reappeared. Second is the new enter by coordinates features, which is going to be really nice to have. I did notice that while it works fine to enter coords, if you go to demo mode and then enter coords and press the check mark, the unit crashes and turns off. I tried it again in normal mode with no problems, then it did it again in demo mode and another shutdown. Not a huge deal, but something that Garmin will have to address. Other than those, I am really happy with this update.
