  1. Dakboy's solution will work; however, I would prefer that the cache not be "deleted" from the GSAK database. I use the GSAK database for multiple reasons one which is to identify my "found" caches. If you deleted an archived cache that you had found then the information derived from the filter would be incomplete.
  2. I, too, have the same problem. I maintain a GSAK database of all caches in my state which is updated totally every seven days. The problem is that once a cache is "archived" the cache is never included again in the appropriate pocket query. It would appear to be so simple to include as an option to select "archived caches". The user then could create a PQ that only pulled the archived caches and when this query was posted to the GSAK database the availability would then be changed such that it could be filtered out.
  3. I have created a querie which I desire to transfer the caches to the Nuvi. I unzipped the querie file and copied this .gpx file to the scandisk on the Nuvi. I expected to see the "treasure chests" pop up on the Nuvi display; however, I don't. What step am I missing???
  4. Thanks to all who replied. You were all correct. A fellow Georgia cacher had already done all the work necessary. It takes 13 different query files for our state since there are approximately 6,500 active caches in the state. By restricting the data to a specific "date hidden" range the number of caches per query can be limited to less than 500. Once those numbers are figured out we will only have to adjust the "last" or "most current" query as time passes. Just as that "impossible" to find cache they are all "so easy" after you know where to look. Thanks again, I really appreciate the responses!!!
  5. I am looking for a method where I can produce a list of all active caches within a specific state, province, region, etc where the cache title contains a specific "word" or "grouping of letters". I can use the keyword search on the homepage; however, the data is not consistent and I cannot limit the data to a specific area. The pocket queries approach is less helpful since there is no provision for limiting the data to a keyword and we are limited to the production of a maximum of 500 lines. If I had someway of pulling the data of active caches for a state I could import the data into a product like GSAK where I could do multiple filters very easily. Any ideas?????
  6. Does anyone know how to delete a bookmark list? I can delete the contents of a bookmark list, but how do you totally delete the bookmark like when you complete a challenge or project or whatever you may have previously used the list for but no longer have a need?
  7. I opened a Geocaching account. I have a desire to change the name without effecting the account number. Is there a way to do this???
