WOW!!! Are you Greek? Can you speak Greek, or is it from a site? Amazing!!!! Well, with ferry, we mean mostly big ships, boats, that connect islands etc, and carry cars too! The smaller boats that go to Marmaris are mostly for Tourists and do not carry cars, so... I think there was an excepton with a turkish boat, an ex swordfish fishing boat, that carried things and 1 car, but I do not know if itis still in use!

A ferry? Smaller boats or hydrofoils! I do not know if I wrote it correctly, I am talking about flying dolphins as we use to name them! there is no ferry going there (from Rhodes)! Only ships for daily trips, to Marmaris! In other Dodecanese islands like Kos and Kastelorizo (Megisti), Turkey is so close that you can go with a fishing boat!!! As you realized, we are in the borders!

well, I am so new to geocaching! I found the 10 of the 15 caches in Rhodes islsnd, and 1 virtual in Athens! I am not travelling a lot, so... Well, Turkey is very close to Rhodes..

We see snow falling only once every 50 years!!! I had to go to the top of the tallest mountain here in Rhodes (1240m), to see some snow! Some weeks ago, I saw snow falling for the first time in my life! Nothing much, the snow flakes were so thin and small that they were melting immediatelly when they were touching the ground! At least I saw snow falling!

Hmm...perhaps I saw home made TB's or companies tags! The Photo of the TB in the Travel Bug FAQ, here in the site, is showing a different TB with the one I have! The TB in there, starts: I go from place to place... My TB starts with: Do not keep me! I am a travel bug... I suppose the one in the photo is the old version! I do not think there is a possibility to own an old one any more right? The old one looks like a dogtag of the Army!

Hello to all! Greetings from Greece!!! I am very new to all this, so my question is probably stupid! Sorry for this! I have seen travel bugs with variety in designs! I am not talking about the things that are attached with the TB's! I have seen TB that have red colored letters, the bug in it is smaller or bigger, the logos are in different places, the symbol of geocaching or the symbol of grounspeak are smaller or bigger or different... Why is that? Why so many varieties? Is is because of the different companies who make TB's? Are these collectable too, like the varietes of Geocoins? See...I told you! Stupid question!!! Nikos

Hello! Are flips, the plastig case the geocoins are inside? I was wondering something.... since I am a coin (real coin) and banknote collector I know that plastic cases (naylon ones) are damaging the coins! Isn't that happening with the geocoins too? Is there a possibility that the geocoins after some period and because they are travelling and maybe exposed to sun, water... may have damages like coins too? Just asking! Being a coins & banknote collector of course, has nothing to do with geocaching! I do not see geocoins as coins, but as something completely different!
