  1. Can two differant Rhino models report position information to each other. In other words if I get the kids a 110 each and mom the 130, can she keep up with little monsters on camping trips and the like? Naturally I will stick with a regular hand held so I can slip off for a little fishing.
  2. Anyone using a cable from your 60cs to a treo? I would like to know where to purchase one.
  3. I purchased my wife a Zire on Ebay Shipping and all for $30.00. It only has 2 meg of memory but that is enough for names, dates and to go paperless. I use a Treo600 smart phone and have no problems using the spinner/plucker combo and I do have a lot of apps and email on my phone.
  4. http://www.geocacher-u.com/resources/paperless.html This page has detailed instructions and links to free download tools to get it done. Works for me but it is the only one I have used.
  5. Rubberhead, I can really identify with your statement about regretting each gun you have ever sold. There are a few things in life which you always regret selling. In my experience it has been guns, musical instruments and now I will have to add GPSr to my list. I still get upset of selling my old 67, short bed, step side, three on the tree chevy pickup with a wood box and that was 20 years ago. I was going to sell my Legend to help fund a new GPSr but have decided against it on the strength of your post ( and the memory of the 67). I will still by the new GPSr but keep my Legend. Thanks for the excellent thread WXBOSS
  6. GPSNOW has them available. Not recommending them, have no ties to them just thought some folks might want to know.
  7. Thanks for the help! The information in the other threads was very helpful. I think I am going to have to wait for the 76cs. If load all my home state of MI from Metroguide and Topo it is exactly 54 mb.
  8. Here we go, I know right now all we have to go on is what Garmin says the 76cs will be like but I think we can make a good guess. I have the hots for a new GPSr. I like my Legend but I am ready to step up. Should I wait for the 76CS or go with the 60CS? I think the negative to the 76cs is it will cost me about $75.00 more and I would be giving up the Geocaching Feature. The upside is more than double the memory. Having not used the geocaching feature on a 60cs I am interested in what you all have to say. Mind you that the unit will be used for hiking, geocaching and driving in that order. Please advise
  9. Thanks for the input. Ran a couple about 1:00 PM EDT and as of 11:30 they are not here. As it turns out my weekend trip was scrapped at the last minute due to problems with my well at home. Maybe it will show up in time for next weekend.
  10. How long should it take to get the email
  11. I have the leatherman WAVE. The only single item I use more is my eyeglasses, which of course go on when I wake and come off when I lay down.
