  1. Living, as I do, near the Greenwich meridian, can also cause problems. Spent an hour hunting for the cache. Found where I though it must be - but no cache. Then realised I was looking in the western hemisphere, not the eastern! Cache was probably a mile and a half away. Mind you - I did find a good place for a cache! If I ever get permission - I am gonna call it "Mirror Image".
  2. I agree it is OK. That is particularly true of TB Hotels. I think they are mostly designed to be revisited to help the TBs. Certainly I intend to visit the one near me several times.
  3. Hi. I lurk. I have been sitting for 15 minutes thinking about why I do. I suppose there are two parts to lurking: a - Active - i.e. reading posts b - Inactive - i.e. not posting much in return. I read to learn and understand, and to avoid doing some work, sometimes for entertainment. I don't post much because - I find it hard work (writing something that won't annoy AND is of value) - I am new to geocaching - I am supposed to be busy - I think I have a life (but might be mistaken) - But mostly because when I have written something I often don't think that much of it and delete it. I will probably delete this post. Ooops .. don't....
  4. Funny you should ask - I just planted my first cache GCH4RY, the final part of which has such an issue.
  5. I have been to a cache (and am now planning one on the same basis) where the GPS definitely does not work at the cache. But there is an easy solution to that problem - that is part of the fun. As long as they can actually be found.
