  4. Found Mr. Jiffy #5 at the Welcome to Tulare Cache here in California. Below are pictures of me with Mr. Jiffy and a couple of him with the thermometer! Neat idea and great prize at the end. I can't figure out how to do them all in one so I will just add each picture as a post. Sorry.
  5. I think our best day Purphaze and DeeDee2 made 84 in on day. Now this was the run up yokol valley road and up to 9ers hides ad then to lade sucess and these caches are every 528ft up the road. It is great fun for a day time caching we stARTED at 10am and ended a bout 10pm but you can easily do 151 oon the road. we had alreday been on it once and lcleaned up aobut 50 caches easlily Happy Caching
  6. We had a similar problem, one was Vista and external or the front usb port/card readers. I have a removeable one on my computer and use xp. As soon as I removed the card reader from the front of the computer it worked fine. My husband had to down load a work around for his computer and vista because he can't remove his card reader front usb ports. For some reason the GARMIN program sees these and doesn't see the GPS. Not sure if this applies to you but I haven't seen this option offered yet.
  7. I would like 3. DeeDee2 tell me were to send money and to how;
  8. My husband and I use the TomTom to cache with as well, I have an inexpensive Garmin that I use as well. I find it easier not to take the tomtom out of the car unless I don't have a route downloaded on to the Garmin and need to know the caches that are near by. Since with the tomtom you can browse the map and see what caches are in the area if you have done a pocket query and saved it as a POI file and then save it to your tomtom under north america. I have a 920t with card storage space. We love using the tomtom in conjunciton with the handhelds. As I said we just download the query to both the hand held and the tomtom so we have the same file. You can even use GSAK and get a route printed out with the gc numbers and cords to enter into your system just in case one it missed. Happy caching.
