i had a message about load latest plugin, now i keep gettin in a loop saying that plugin not detected. sent message to garmin site and have not heard back. any ideas. thanks bird

....ok, here is an idea that another cacher had. break out the paddles....clear....beep beep beep...bring it back to life. i picked up a tb that was an aluminum ingot with the tb #'s stamped in. i read the description and saw that it was on it's third life. when the first got lost, he got a pice of metal , stamped in the #'s and rereleased it, it happened again and he released it again. it has been moving for a while now. i have two that we are going to try this out on. baseball bug, and fishing bug. we will keep you up to date on how this works/ outlaws1....cya in the air

FISHING BUG(HAD A FISH ATTACHED) WAS IN A CACHE THAT WAS IN THE WAY OF A BUSHHOG. , CACHE AND ALL ONBOARD WENT TO THIER GRAVES IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT , THOSE PESKY GERMAN SUBMARINES....AND DAH DAH ...THE YOUNGEST OUTLAWS....BIG BEN BUG( HAS A BUSTED WATCH ATTACHED)IT'S JOB IS TO GO TO THE TOWER OF LONDON AND BACK. WE LIVE IN N.C. AND IT IS NOW IN WASHINGTON STATE, MAYBER IT IS GOING BY WAY OF HONG KONG. SO, I LIKE THE EVENT THING. HOW DO I REMOVE THE CACHE AFTERWARDS? i found a cache , cords and descriptionon the home page. wrote the info down. went out and found the cache. came back to log it in and it doesn't show up on the geo home page anymore. anyideas on how i can log my find? outlaws1

similar to joeluke, we want to hold an event cache to mark our 100th find. would like to do this a local pizza parlor(all you can eat 5.99), how do we post it?

Let your GPS settle in the same spot for several minutes. Once my GPS settles I will take an average of 50-100 readings. My GPS has an averaging feature. Finally, I will check my coords by testing them by approaching the cache from a few different angles. Cool!! The 60CSX I'm getting does averaging!! I'll play with it in the yard when I get it before I place my first cache.... Thanks all!! May I add one suggestion first? Why don't you go out and find a few caches first before hiding one? That way you will get an idea of how your GPS works and how others have hid theirs as well. I think I found maybe close to 100 caches before I hid my first.

we have picked up and dropped of 4 tb's. no problem with 2, but last two don't show in inventory, shows picked up in log. so how do i fix this? thanks, outlaws1

the kids and i tried to find 6 caches, 5 micros and 1 regular. found the regular but the micros drove us crazy. glad we found 1, but the micros were discouraging. any help wuold be appreciated. thanks, outlaws1
