  1. HOLY SMOKES! That is an awesome item! Did you make that yourself?? quote:Originally posted by Indiana Cojones:My signature item is finally finished! http://homepage.mac.com/thecreativealliance/.Pictures/SignatureItem.jpg Each one contains a genuine ancient coin (keeping with the whole Indiana Jones/archaeological theme). Some of the coins are more "valuable" than others, and I'm thinking of putting silver coins out there for my major milestones (100 caches, 200 caches, etc). I'm going to leave the first one tonight. Team Yellow Dog is doing something similar, so we'll have to keep an eye out for each other's cache finds and then go plunder 'em.
  2. Meridian vs. Vista I am using this unit for hiking and geocaching, not while driving or anything like that. Like the Meridian size and res. Vista will most likely be cheaper. Meridian has upgradable memory. Quad antenna on the Meridian Vista seems to get better reviews on this board. Thoughts???
  3. Dang, too late. I see that you're in Carrollton, that's where I grew up! DO you have a local GPS dealer that gives you a good deal? ANy recs?
  4. Do we have costco's down here in Texas? (yee haw)
  5. Awesome! Thanks for the help y'all (yea, I'm from Texas... ) I have the Alpine DVD Navigation in my car, so "serious" roadway useage won't necessary, but I'd like to know where caches are when I take longer trips. I have been looking at the Vista and 76S from Garmin... any opinions?

  7. Hello all! I am looking for the best GPS for a newbie. I will be using it in the car for travel cross country as well as geocaching. Sub $400 if possible.
