  2. Thanks for your reply Sea_Dog, if you would could you let me know when the construction is over. I am not sure when my brother will be back in the area. You can either E-mail me or just put a note on the cache web page Mt. Trashmore Cache. Thanks for any help you can bring. I've Lost My Marbles
  3. I am looking for someone to check on the status of the construction at Mount Trashmore. I have a cache there. My brother who is in the navy has been unavailable to help me out. I just need to know if the construction is over. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. American Eagle and Lady Liberty. I've Lost My Marbles
  4. Here is a neat idea. A friend of mine came up with this. Take a small container about the size of a 35mm film container. Put a trash bag in it, and drop it off in a cache. The idea is for the next cacher to use the bag to pick up trash on his/her way out. Replace the bag with a new one and then drop it off in the next cache. I have even made some labels to go on mine. The labels state the instruction, just in case someone would not know what to do with the container. I attached Travel Bugs to two of mine. (CACHE IN TRASH OUT) and (CACHE IN TRASH OUT #2) bug. Here is a picture of me with one of the bags that came out of Cloak_N_Dager's caches I've Lost My Marbles

  13. Marion, Virginia is a small town with a lot of history. Mountain Dew was invented here so they call it the home of Mountain Dew. The first herb trading post was establish here back in the late 1800s. There is a lot more history but I won’t get into that. Now it looks like the town is cache heaven. In about a 15 mile radius you can find an abundance of caches. You have a variety of cache to look for, from the easy walk-easy find to your more difficult hikes and well camouflaged caches. I invite everyone to come and make a day of geocaching here in Marion. Cloak_N_Daggar and myself are not done yet, we have plans for many more. I hope that we will be able to make them worthy for everyone. Our camouflaging is getting better so watch where you step. Here are the links to several cache in the area. 14. Just thought I would say thank to the group of people who maintain and run the GEOCACHING web site. This sport has given me months of fun and adventure. I never though I would see the day that you could have a hobby that didn’t cost you an arm and leg. I hope that everyone will help support the web site by playing by the rules, remember be smart about the placement of a cache. We need to help keep this site going. There are not that many organization that I willing to support, but I believe that this one is great for everyone. So thanks to all you folks who are helping support and run the site!!!!!! Jeremy you have done a great job, THANKS!!!!!!!!!!! Geocaching not just a hobby, but a way of life . American Eagle and Lady Liberty I've Lost My Marbles
  15. You can also use the State map, zoom in on the area you are intrested in and there in a picture of all the cache in the area. It work well if you want to plan a trip somewhere, and would like to hit use cache on the way. Happy Caching I've Lost My Marbles
  16. I believe a lot of the problems with TBs are that a cacher accidentally logs the bug into a cache when they are logging their visit or find, and they don’t even realize it . I have done this myself, but went back and corrected my mistake. This happens when you use a mouse with a wheel to view the pages. If you get close to the drop box (If you left a traveler from your inventory, select it here) with the pointer when you are turning the wheel it will move the items in the drop box. So everyone needs to make sure that they haven’t accidentally dropped off a TB by mistake. They might think about adding a pop-up that ask if you are sure you want to drop this bug off. Could this be part of it???? I've Lost My Marbles
  17. I would help it to the trash, and I think I would also let the Cacher that placed the cache know about it. I try to keep an eye all of my cache and remove items that I deemed to be trash. I've Lost My Marbles
  18. Sounds great I might have to try it out. I've Lost My Marbles
  19. All the talk about containers, It really doesn't matter what you make it out of, it is up to the Cacher who places it. I like to see different containers. It would be a pitty if we had to use just one container (ammo box). Geocaching not just a hobby, but a way of life!!!! I've Lost My Marbles

  21. I was unable to move a bug for some weeks, because of a bum knee. I was just wondering what one should do if they are unable to move a bug for sometime. I normally try to get the bug back on the road in a week. Just looking for some advise. I've Lost My Marbles
