  1. Hello. Forgive me if this has been asked and answered... I couldn't find answers to this particular question in the archives... but then again I'm a newbie and prone to make mistakes. Is it possible to convert a gpx file into a database file (similar to watcher) which will display (in their respective columns) waytpoint, coords, title, description including major and minor description and decrypted hints? Once the info is in the database file I could expand the cells with long descriptions and set the font size small enough to reduce the overall printed length to a reasonable number of pages. I have done this manually for about 100 caches nearby, but the time commitment was escessive. If there is another program which will already do what I am looking for, please let me know. I have searched for different gpx handling programs but haven't found one that will print the cache descriptions along with the other standard info. Thanks for your help. -ZigZag-
  2. I am a brand spanking newbie - I've logged one cache and failed on a couple others. One of my failures was under tree cover and it seemed I couldn't get better than 40 feet of accuracy (I own the little yellow etrex), and even at that it would lose its sat lock every few seconds. The other day I was playing around with the gps at home and I got 20 feet of accuracy sitting on my couch! Why would I get better accuracy indoors than under tree cover? Thanks, Zig
