Yes it does seem like alot of tech's here......... and i'm feeling that pain about being indoors......... just have to get out, my job is making me crazy......now off to cache. Howie Thanks for posting all, the rest of you come on...............

Im new to caching and i've been looking around the site at all the different people and was wondering , although we all love to cache we have to do something as far as work to feed our habit. What do you do for a living? Of course if your a stay at home person that's cool to just let me/us know what you do? I'm a board tech, i sit in a dark room with one other guy (nothing funny going on either) and we run a chemical plant. Been here 28 years......... now how about you.....

I lead the league i play in from the start till the playoffs the last two years and then went down in flames lol but by leading the league in wins i got all my money back, so didn't get the trophy but did get some mad money......... yes please count me in .............Howie57

We would love the thank everyone for their advice and i will use at the very least parts of everyones Thanks!!! We went on our first Hunt yesterday, sort of rainy and wet low cloud cover and high trees. GPS was doing funny things and figured it was from the clouds and trees. But i did use the coordinates only and got close enough and wouldn't you know BINGO !!!! found it.... now you talk about a rush lol. Very good day.. One down and ? many to go.... thanks again eveyone.......are we allowed to post pics of us AT or with the cache, but not showing the location? Not sure so asking, dont want to get offon the wrong foot with all my new friends...... Howie57

Hi my name is Howie and i just got my Garmin etrex this very day. Now i've read the manual and of course will take baby steps in doing my first cache. But one question that i can't find on this site. What is some of the stuff that one might take in a backpack other than water, leatherman and such when geocaching? I'll be mostly doing car caches. So any suggestions will be greatly appriciated, thanks in advance Howie......ok i am so PUMPED !!!!
