I am also hunting for one of these to go along with my caching buddy, he is a red Boader Collie. I have a AE of the Celebrate Summer Coin to trade. The picture is of the sample, but the coin is trackable.

Excuse my ramblings, I am by no means a good writer as I carry on. Here are some of my thoughts on this subject. I hope some of this makes some kind of sense. Everyone should take a deep breath and step back and ask themselves this. Weather or not the Ventura Kids, did or did not do what they claim, is it really going to affect your life? I think not. You will all wake up the next morning, hopefully. The odds of making more or less money at your jobs because they completed this cache run will not change. Your life as a whole will not change, unless you yourself stress your self out over it. So why do that? There are better things in our lives to be doing then slamming the Ventura Kids. They claim they did it, that’s all that matters, for they themselves know they did and if for what ever reason if they did not. They again know that. My self, I believe they did it no matter what the math says. That’s all that should matter. Why lie about it when there is really nothing to be gained other then the pride in them selves for completing the task. Now, I’m of to plan a cache run with my kids. That’s what my life is about, Family. Good job Ventura Kids and happy Caching.

Reading everything here, to me it sounds like they did it, So Great Job! I did read one post that does make sense though about a world record. And the problem of recording them, each run made are totally different the one before. Not really apples to apples. I think if the was every to be a true record set. It would have to be a series that any team could go after and attempt to break any one set before it. Which I think would be near impossible to set up, though I have started plans on putting one together. If it works, I have no clue at this time. I am working on making it a week long event with teams leaving every 12 hours. With 600 caches placed for it. Call me crazy all you want. I already know I am. The rules this team used for the run are a good set from my point of view and the terrain seamed to favor the run compared to anything I have seen here in the South East. That being said the feet accomplished here is still top notch and a great accomplishment along with a long DAYYYYYY of Caching. Again Great Work.

Opinion Poll! Wow with out an opinion what would we do? But with one we might state the wrong one. Then again if you had one. ours might be right and yours wrong. So who’s is right if ours is wrong? But still right because yours is wrong. Or is yours right and ours wrong? Then you must ask! What if we had no opinion about your opinion? Would that still be an opinion about the correct opinion? So I must conclude with out a opinion for now, which may leave you with the opinion that I am nuts. So is that correct or wrong? And then it still is, just a Opinion. So my 2 cents worth is not much of an opinion!

All right guys and gals of all ages, I got the approval back today from the City for our Halloween Event, and it is a go for Oct 30th 6-9 P.M at The Dead Children’s Play Ground in Huntsville, Al. Yes you heard me right, what better place we could come up with, other then the middle of a cemetery, I do not know. I have summated the Cache page and it should be up with all the detail, in a few days. We will have a pot luck dinner, Games and much more. So be sure to mark your calendars now for this Spooktacular Event!

I don’t have set dates yet, but keep your eyes open for an event you will not want to miss this spring. The Southern Geocachers Association will be hosting the first Dixie Rally in the Valley, in Huntsville Alabama. As we get more information I will let you all know. For a while as a new cachers I had a couple of hides that would fall into this category, after a few months of caching and finding a few others like it, I decided to archive mine do to the uncomfortable feeling of hunting them. Now and then it takes a bit of a learning process to hone our game.

May have to use this and the event idea, sounds EEEVILLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!

Well The 3rd Annual Celebrate Summer Event was a great success. Part of the days activities included the Amazing GeoRace. Where teams had to complete 5 challenges filled with detours and tons of fun. Competitors received the cords for the next challenge after completing the one at hand. Below are a few clips of some of the action. Counting Cachers and family we had well over 100 folks attending. With the hepl of the MSGA, SGA, GOWT and the MTGC every one had a great time.

I will call Mike and see what is up, They show out of stack but if you click on the coin and go to the page for it, then click on the Reservations Closing - August 6th, 2009 link it carries you to a Reservations page, I could be wrong, but when he first puts the coin up on his site, it takes a couple of days before they open for sales. I may have jumped the Gun. I'm sorry if I confused any one.
