  1. In the danish geocaching-forum one of the rewievers made this post yesterday: Garmin Chirp has been discussed in the Rewiever Forum, Groundspeak has made a clear statement: If there is an alternative to the Garmin Chirp (like a label with the same info) it is ok to use the Chirp transmitter. (the quote is the original - the rest is translated from danish). NeverWalkAlone
  2. What the largest number of active zones at one time? Oregon crashes if to many zones are active. NeverWalkAlone
  3. And please add attributes for precise height, color, exact size, cammuflage and ... NO! STOP! The search for the cache is as a part of the "game" ... Attributes tells something about the place and the overall experience ... nothing about how the cache is hidden - and let it stay that way. Otherwise there's no challenge left. NWA
  4. The game IS spread all over the world... i agree with post 65 in the "Germany Geocaching leading nation?"-discussion NWA
  5. I hope not! Let's keep it in english - just to as a reminder to write cache-descriptions in your own language AND english to help us who don't speak the local language. NeverWalkAlone
  6. Your coin is now grabbed from the cache today at 08.00 PM - local time. Translation of log (Not exact put you should be able to get the point): A few weeks went by before we found the time to find a cache, which lies less than a kilometer from home. Out: Geocoin In: -
  7. Coins do not travel that fast in Denmark - in one of my caches a coin was dropped by First Finder - the cache had (as far as i remember) five finds the next month - but none of the four og five visitors grabbed the coin. Feel free to mail me via geoching.com if you need any other translations from danísh (i dont spend that much time in here at .com-forum as we do have a nice forum in danish on geocaching.dk).
  8. This list is not correct/up to date ... the danish cache "Kippers in the jungle" GC6A is active and not archived. Note that list-edit-date was May 2005!!! NWA
  9. Oh get a life! This is not something about life and death!!!! Yes we pay a little bit... but compared to a lot of other things in real life and on the internet this is cheap... here in Denmark it's a sunny but cold day... do as we did... give your gps a day off and take a walk hand in hand with the one you love and remember that there is other things in life. As written somewhere else there is no where written that paying for PM mens that you have 24/7 acces til the site... down-time can be expected for all sites.
